 Course Expectations
To work with radicals and integer exponents

To analyze an solve linear equations.

To define, evaluate, and compare functions.

To use function model relationships between quantities.

To understand and apply the Pythagorean Thorem.

To solve real-world and mathematical problems involving volume of

cylinders, cones and spheres.

No homework
on Fridays.
If absent, due
Algebra review
within 3 days
upon return.
To receive credit for homework all math
work must be:

Done in pencil ONLY.

Done on white-lined notebook paper.
Must have proper heading in the upper
right-hand corner (Name, Date, Period
and assignment)
All math work necessary to arrive at the
answer must be shown.
 Any portion of the daily class work not
completed in class will be added to the
homework for that day.
Late assignments: Homework for the
current unit will be accepted for
partial credit up until the exam for
that unit is given.

 Tests, quizzes, or projects - 75% of total grade.
Homework, class work, notebooks- 25% of total
grade.

100 90 % =A
89 - 80% =B
79 70% =C
69 60% =D
59 0% =F
 Cell phones must be on
SILENT mode, not vibrating
mode.
If a student is caught using
the cell phone, it will be
taken away until the end of

 Behavioral Expectations
Your students citizenship grade will be
evaluated on the basis of his/her behavior
while in class. Citizenship grades are based on
work habits, ability to follow directions,
arriving to class on time, being prepared to
work, having supplies required and showing
respect. Missing assignments will also impact a
students citizenship grade.
