Collaboration was carried up to conduct


follow-up studies of participating schools
in PISA and TIMMS
Result of PISA dan TIMSS study became one of
the key inputs in drafting the Malaysia
Education Blueprint 2013 - 2025
PISA dan TIMSS became the coordinators of
language learning, mathematics and science at
international level
National examination and school-based
examination will be modified in order to increase
the numbers of questions that test high-level
thinking skill
Task Force PISA and TIMSS was
establish after receiving the instruction
from Education Minister at the JPP
(Jawatan Perwakilan Penduduk)
Meeting and led by BPK (Badan
Pemeriksa Keuangan).
This Task Force focuses on improving
higher order thinking skills (HOTS)
among students and teachers.
