- This module traces the evolution and


development of the discipline of
nursing from pre-civilization up to
present and the merits of nursing as a
discipline and as a profession

2. Traced the history and development of nursing in
the Philippines
3. Conceptualized the value of nursing as a profession

- This module covers the analysis, evaluation and


utilization of the different foundations of nursing
practice, it also includes an analysis of present
philosophies and the acquisition of knowledge
in nursing which provides the profession its

and projections and major influences on
the future of nursing

1. Analyzed various trends and issues in nursing
and its implications to the status of nursing
2. Discuss the major influences to the future of
nursing
3. Conceptualized a projected future of nursing
in selected areas of nursing fields.
