Associate Safety
Professional (ASP) /
Certified Safety Professional
(CSP) Exam Preparation

Workshop Focus:
ASP/CSP is considered the highest safety Certification Globally and HSE
Professional give respect to Certificate Holder Globally.
In this workshop, participants will gain adequate knowledge in the latest concept
on various aspects of safety including Safety Engineering, Safety Mathematics,
Risk Management etc. It is a 3 days workshop each day from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Target participants: Only those whose academic qualification is equivalent

to Bachelor Degree in US in any field (16 years of schooling) and whose job is
about 50% in safety are eligible for CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
designation from the worlds biggest board of safety professionals. Refer next
page for more details on qualifications / eligibility
It will be computerized on-line, multiple choice exam. in any of the approved
computerized exam centers (PearsonVUE test center) in various countries in the
world including India at your convenient day / time. Exam is of 5 hours and
contains 200 multiple-choice questions with four possible answers. You have to
tick the correct answer. Your score is based on the number of scored items you
correctly answer. There is no negative mark.

The workshop will be conducted with the help of power point presentation and
with computerized test like that of actual ASP/CSP exam

Participants will be told about the type of questions of each domain and how
to choose the correct answer from the tricky options with explanations
Participants will get study material of each domain with explanations.
Participants will appear simulated tests like actual ASP/CSP exam during
workshop and understand how you are progressing and you will get
confidence and you will know as to which domain you are weak, or strong.
Participants should bring laptop, pen drive and a scientific calculator.
Participants should bring ID, / Profile of safety work in Participants job
profile.

For obtaining CSP, first one need to pass ASP exam (i.e., CSP via ASP).
Qualification or Eligibility: Minimum Bachelor's degree in any field or an
Associate's degree in Safety, Health or the Environment or a closely related field
in USA or equivalent for International candidates. At least 3 years of experience
where safety is at least 50%, preventative, professional level, with breadth and
depth of safety duties.
For example,
BE : 10 + 2 + 4 years study = 16 years study and is eligible for CSP.
Diploma holders with 10 + 3 = 13 years study and be eligible for OHST.
M.Sc,/MA (10 + 2 + 3 years B.Sc/ BA + 2 years M.aster) = 17 years study and
is eligible for CSP.

ASP waiver:
BCSP currently accepts only the following certifications, licenses or
memberships for waiver of ASP examination. For details please visit BCSP's web

Each Member : `15000/-

*Minimum 20 and maximum 25 participants. Infrastructure facility including

hall, audio-visuals, lunch and snacks etc.to be provided by the organization
free of charge.

To cover the expenses of this 3-day Workshop, payment should be made

through Cash or Demand Draft / Cheque.
