What is Asean Economic
Community (AEC)?
Asean Economic Community is integrated economic
system between southeast asian countries (Indonesia,
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam,
Myanmar, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia and Laos ).
AEC envisages the following key characteristics:
(1) a single market and production base,
(2) a highly competitive economic region,
(3) a region of equitable economic development, and
(4) a region fully integrated into the global economy.
Strategy To deal Asean
Economic Community
Indonesia has so many problems that should be fixed to
face asean economic community and There are 4 keys for
indonesia to deal Asean economic Community, They are :
1. Bureaucracy of Investment
2. Small and Medium Enterprises
3. Human Resource Development
4. Infrastructure
Bureaucracy Of Investment

In last few years, Indonesia has so many problems and

one of the problem is complex bureaucracy of
investment.
For Investor, ease of investing is one of the most
important consideration thing to invest his money.
Because if bureaucracy is easy, the investor easily to
invest his money without thinking of complex
bureaucracy. But if bureaucracy is complex, Investor will
think again to invest his money.
Small and Medium Enterprise

Indonesia has so many small and medium enterprises and

this field has contributed in growth of Indonesia economy.
With 250 million of population, this field will become the
most important thing of growth Indonesia Economy.
Indonesia Government support this field with give
incentive for investor to develop his business in small and
medium enterprise, Such as :
- Initial fund
- Low Interest of Return
- Consultation with Specialist of Investment
Human Resource Development

Human Resource Development is the one of most important

key here. Indonesia has 250 millions of population and it
means that so many Human resource can be developed to be
professional human, Indonesia Government Has to support
this field, and to support this field The government has to
develop few things such as :
- Education for all people
- Health Insurance for all people
- Training for employee to be professional
- Counseling with specialist of business strategy for
developing enterprise
Infrastructure

The existing Infrastructures in Indonesia is not enough to

handle free trading and growth of economy.
Indonesias existing Infrastructures must be developed by
Government to handle demand of growing economy.
The infrastructures which must be developed are :
- Increase Length of Highway In Indonesia
- Makes Integrated Industrial estate
- Enlarge capacity and Increase number of Airport,
Container port, Station, etc.
- Increase quality of service in all infrastructure
