In recruiting new associates the company begins
a comprehensive recruitment program in the
community where the store is to identify
candidates.

start getting acquainted

they are presented to the two basic rules
of Wal-Mart. These are:

competition. Sales are primarily on a self-service, cash-
and-carry basis with the objective of maximizing sales
volume and inventory turnover while minimizing
expenses.
