Estao repetidora dos sinais recebidos da Terra.

Sua altitude permite transmisso de sinais diretamente
entre duas estaes.
Dispensa a utilizao de cabos e grandes investimentos em
infraestrutura;
Pode atender localidades isoladas.

detectados, deslocados em frequncia, amplificados e
retransmitidos de volta Terra.

A parte comum(bus) onde se encontram as baterias,
painis solares, circuitos de telemetria e a parte de
propulso.
A carga til (payload) composta esencialmente dos
circuitos repetidores , denominados transponders.

potncia , filtragem e translao de frequncia retransmite

Tipos de satlite 13

Existem tipos de satlites que se encontram em rbitas

distintas:

LEO (LowEarthOrbit): Aproximadamente 500-1500 km.

MEO (MediumEarthOrbit): Aproximadamente 6000-15000 km.
HEO (HighEarthOrbit): a partir de 20000 km (onde se inclui
GEO: Geostationaryorbit Aproximadamente 36000 km).

Uma estao master opcional (HUB)
Satlite de retransmisso.

Redes VSAT so geralmente do tipo estrela onde existe uma central

(HUB) que atua como os contemporneos hubs de redes locais (par
