1 Super Hornet Simulator
The Super Hornet simulator was
connected to a cockpit and systems
development laboratory operated by
Elbit's Brazilian subsidiary AEL
Sistemas. The facility was built as
part of an avionics upgrade
programme for the Brazilian air
force's Northrop F-5s performed by
the Israeli company.
In 2002, when the Audi MMI (Multi Media Interface) was launched, journalists
and the general public were unanimous: the new Audi concept was the best on
the market. With its control knob on the center tunnel and large function keys to
select the main operating areas, it was effortless to control, with self-evident
logic that was repeated on the MMI display. Audio, TV, information, telephone
and navigation never before had the driver been able to control all these areas
so intuitively.
3 Kongsberg Maritimes Polaris Bridge Simulator
The Kongsberg Maritime Polaris Bridge Simulator enables flexible training in ship
handling, manoeuvring and navigation, based on cutting-edge visuals and realistic
hydrodynamic modelling. Polaris may be delivered as a full-mission, 360 degree,
motion platform based integrated simulator, a part task simulator (ECDIS, radar
etc), a PC based desktop simulator or as any combination of these.
4 Surgeon Simulator 2013
A human version of the classic arcade game Pacman, superimposing the virtual
3D game world on to city streets and buildings, is being developed by
researchers in Singapore.
Players equipped with a wearable computer, headset and goggles can physically
enter a real world game space by choosing to play the role of Pacman or one of
the Ghosts.
A central computer system keeps track of all their movements with the aid of GPS
receivers and a wireless local area network.
10 City Lens augmented reality app
FPS simulator will blow you over. The setup comes installed with Battlefield 3.
The spacious four by nine meter video dome provides for an omni-directional
treadmill perfect for all your movements that are tracked by ten infra-red motion
tracking cameras and a sensor on the gun, along with a Kinect hack that maps
your jumps and crouches.

16 Shadow Runner Shadow Runner is a
unique experience that
allows visitors to an
exhibition or space to
compete against a well
known athlete. The
branded experience is
not only engaging and
fun but also gives the
visitor something to
take home, extending
the interaction past the
days adventure.
17 Shadow Runner for LEGO
Shadow Runner is a head to head race over 15 meters, with Shadow Runner in one lane and
an eager challenger in the other, battling it out to be the first across the finish line and in the
fastest time. The footage is augmented on large screens around the racing track.
This unique experience certainly created a buzz and saw the running challenge taken every
minute over the four days of the Expo. Every performance was recorded, replayed on a big
screen and then emailed out, allowing the children to watch, and no doubt re-watch, their
own race. This enabled them to share their LEGO experience with all their friends and family.
18 Gesture-based 'Angry Birds on SMART TV
Samsung today announced plans to bring a gesture-based version of Angry Birds to its
smart TV platform. Samsung and Rovio have been working on the app since the end of last
year, and will launch it globally sometime this month. According to the manufacturer, this
version of Angry Birds incorporates the smart TV's motion recognition capabilities, allowing
gamers to fling onscreen fowl with their hands. Launching shortly after the app is an Angry
Birds animated series, which will be available on a video-on-demand basis. Samsung didn't
offer a precise launch date or price for the game itself, though it will be available via the
Samsung TV app store for anyone with an ES7000, ES8000, or ES9000 series smart TV.
