The First Baptism

The human embryo develops in the mother's uterus within a fluid-filled sac called the
amnion. The primary function of the amnion is to create a roomy, weightless,
protective chamber in which the fetus can grow freely. Thus, as the embryo grows,
the amnion expands as well. The amount of fluid contained in the amnion (known as
amniotic fluid) is important for maintaining the size of the cavity. If there is an
inadequate supply of amniotic fluid (a condition given the fancy term,
oligohydramnios), and consequently an unusually small amniotic sac, the growth of
the fetus will be constrained.
. . the amniotic fluid that surrounds human infants in the
womb is primarily urine. Actually, the infant "breathes in"
urine-filled amniotic fluid continually, and without this
fluid, the lungs don't develop. Doctors also believe that
the softness of baby skin and the ability of in-utero
infants to heal quickly without scarring after pre-birth
surgery is due to the therapeutic properties of the urine-
filled amniotic fluid.
Beginning at about 16 weeks of pregnancy, a substantial fraction of the
amniotic fluid comes from the kidneys of the fetus in the form of urine. If
the fetus fails to excrete urine into the amniotic sac (this occurs when both
kidneys fail to develop and no urine is produced), this results in a severe
shortage of amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios). In addition to contributing
urine to the amniotic fluid, the fetus also consumes this fluid by swallowing
it. This liquid enters the fetal intestines where most of it is absorbed into the
fetal blood. Here, it can be processed into urine or, returned to the maternal
blood via the placenta.
Urine is not a waste product of the body
We generally think of urine in just this way: you eat and drink, the intestines 'wring' out the
good stuff in the food, and the urine is the leftover, dirty, waste water that your body doesn't
want, so it should never, ever be reintroduced into the body in any form-right? Wrong."
Martha Christy at http://www.ablentrust.com/urine_therapy.htm

Urine is not a waste product. Waste products are

eliminated through the skin, lungs and digestive
system.
Toxins in the blood are removed by the liver, and
sent out as feces. The pure blood moves to the
kidneys, and is further filtered by the nephron, to
become urine.
Much of the urine is reabsorbed and sent back into
the blood, so the idea of reintroducing the urine
shouldn't be disgusting.
Urine is similar to other body fluids, such as blood.
Urine contains substances that are highly
beneficial for the body and may not be found
anywhere else.
Urine comes from blood filtration. The medical
term for urine is "plasma ultrafiltrate". While it
seems like urine would be toxic, and nasty, it's
actually sterile, made of elements drawn from
the blood to keep the electrolytes, vitamins and
minerals, antibodies, excess water, hormones,
enzymes, and urea in balance at the moment. It
has been scientifically proven, during the whole
century, that reintroducing those elements can
be very beneficial. The toxins themselves are
released instead through the skin and breathe
and solid waste. You wouldn't say, no, don't take
magnesium tablets, for example, when your
muscles are in spasm, because our bodies have
already all they need, or they wouldn't have
urinated out magnesium, would you? So why not
drink urine if you want more magnesium?

Urine is filtered blood, that is richer and more alive coming out, than the
food going in. Creatinine, which helps build muscles and is useful in CFS is
only one of the substances found in urine, and usable by the body once
reintroduced, rather than taking supplements. Melatonin is useful for getting
sleep at night, and for better meditation. DHEA is a steriod which decreases
with age, and helps with illness such as CFS, excellent to replace for
reversing weakness, excess weight, and fatigue. The allantoin in urine
prevents sunburn. Testosterone, and Estrogen can also be upped through
taking urine, if the body needs to reabsorb them. Uric acid helps prevent
cancer and annihilates free radicals. Urokinase is an enzyme which
destroys blood clots. Factor S helps people sleep, and gastric secretary
depressants combat ulcers. HUD prevents cancer.
Urine contains all the essential
nutrients, minerals and vitamins that
our body needs. It is where all the
extras that have to be removed from
the body goes to.

The body will only absorb the exact amount that it requires and expels
the excess. So the urine is very potent multi-vitamins-minerals-protein, it
is no toxic as stated in old outdated information. There are also the
components that dissolve clots, which use the enzyme, Urokinase. Urea
is in medications to treat cancer, edema, meningitis, glaucoma, epilepsy
and more. Injections including Profasi, Personal, Antineoplastens are
made from urine.
Pergonal, a fertility drug uses luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating
urine hormones.
Panafil is a urea and papain ointment used on skin ulcers, burns and
wounds that have become infected.
Murine Eye Drops, the diuretic Ureaphil, Premarin, which is estrogenic,
many skin creams, and a urea based cream for issues with the cervix are
all useful for the health, though not as natural and holistic and
individuated as pure, unadulterated urine.
But they make money for the pharmaceutical industry.
Many studies show that urine helps
prevent and cure cancer. "Bringing Cancer
Cells into Line" was a report at as early as
the 1966 "Federation of American Society
for Experimental Biology", which showed
how Uric acid, Directin, H-11, and 3-
methylglyoxal in urine negatively affects
cancer.

Antineoplastens, which are peptides and amino acid derivatives destroy tumors, as
discovered by Dr. Burzynski. (Oncology News, of the Academy Professional
Information Services July-Aug., 1990)
Doctors Alexander Glazer and Stocker, from University of California have showed
that bilirubin in urine reduces damage from cancer, the effects of growing older,
coronary disease, as well as inflammatory ("Express" (U.S.A.) 1.3.87.) Retine and
antioplastons in urine are also helpful against cancer.
Lars Hanson and Eng Tan proved that urine successfully provides antibodies needed
those things they studied: cholera, Salmonella typhus, diphtheria, tetanus toxoid, and
polio. Who knows what else would have shown up if they had tested even more
diseases. This study was done in 1965 at the Rockefeller Institute.
In 1982, at the University of California at Berkeley, medical researchers showed that
uric acid prevented cancer and the premature aging, and improved the immune
system, through the destruction of free radicals. (O. Davies, "Youthful Uric Acid",
Omni magazine, October 1982)
There are also numerous, thorough, excellent books on the subject, including Urine
Therapy: Your Own Perfect Medicine, by Martha Christy. After a lifetime of trying
everything the medical world had to offer her to deal with her chronic illnesses, and
spending 100,000 dollars, Martha Christy attributes urine therapy to, after 30 years
of suffering, curing herself of CFS, mono, kidney, ear, and sinus infections, cystitis,
adrenal weakness, allergies, Candidiasis, Pelvic inflammatory disease and
endometriosis, allergies, ulcerative colitis, Chron's disease, Hashimoto's disease,
and many more difficulties, very quickly, just by using urine therapy.

But do Western doctors prescribe simply drinking urine, to make people well, bring
their patients to glowing health? Well, it's opposites day, remember.
However, in some cultures, such as India, where the practice, which is Tantric, is
called Amaroli, or Shivambu, it is held in great esteem in the medical profession,
and talked about openly by even Prime Ministers.
Studies show urine helps circulation as well. Doctors announced to the American
Heart Association meetings back in 1967 that urokinase dissolves clots, after
having studied 200 people who had them.

According to Science Digest (as early as July 1958), urine dilates arteries
similarly to nitroglycerin, bringing blood to the heart, thus relieving angina.
Urea combats epilepsy, edema, glaucoma, meningitis and kidney issues. Urea synthesises
proteins and amino acids, which is especially helpful with kidney failure. Urea also fights
against brain tumors and stokes. One report shows a patient's giant tumor being gone in
only two hours after he was given urea6. Urea's anti-cancer properties, especially liver
cancer, were focused on by E V Danopoulos, who was a Professor of Internal Medicine in
Athens. His study was published in a 1974 issue of The Lancet.

Urine contains structured water, which gives us more life force, which may be why it is
named the water of Shiva, the divine principle. Structured water helps us absorb hydration
much more effectively, helps us digest our food better, and feel more energetic, and alert.
Most water we drink has been robbed of its life force, but drinking urine is like drinking
water that has been swirled over rocks, bubbled up from springs, into the sun.

Urine is drunk to treat Sickle cell anemia, cancer, PMS, heart disease, auto-immune
diseases, polio, TB, asthma, infertility, infections, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, pancreatic
insufficiency, psoriasis, eczema, diabetes, herpes, mononucleosis, adrenal failure,
hepatitis, hyperactivity, colitis, diabetes, MS, allergies, AIDS, CFS, anemia, urinary issues
themselves, obesity, digestive issues, jaundice, and more. It even helps people spiritually,
keeping the mind focused on mediation, with a sense of well-being.
It helps gangrene, balding, leprosy, warts, prostate issues, migraine
headaches, rabies, morning sickness, maleria, and arthritis. It is also
shown to be effective for Karposi's sarcoma, parasites, Epstein-Barr,
bites, burns, and and diarrheah, though it can also cause loose stools if
there is a cleansing reaction, so be careful with that one. Dr. Alvin Kien,
of the New York University Medical School, discovered that urine
includes antibodies to HIV.

Many allergies are often caused by white blood running amok and
attacking without reason. They are in the urine, so when taken
internally, we create antibodies to them, and the allergies can go away,
according to studies such as one in 1982, by Dr. William Linscott (Basic
and Clinical Immuniology.). If you are experiencing symptoms of allergy,
urinate and drink it to stop it.
Lamb kidneys
Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own
well. Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters to
the streets. Let them be only thine own, and not strangers with
thee. Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy
youth. (The Book of Proverbs 5:15-18)

The immediate context of this passage is marital faithfulness.

Thus, the words about the water could be interpreted as the
sexual activity in other words, spilling the seed around.
However, this interpretation is not complete, because it
doesnt explain the meaning of drinking water from your own
cistern. What is this fountain?
...the medical community has already been aware of [urine's]
astounding efficacy for decades, and yet none of us has ever
been told about it. Why? Maybe they think it's too
controversial. Or maybe, more accurately, there wasn't any
monetary reward for telling people what scientists know about
one of the most extraordinary natural healing elements in the
world.
the greed of medical doctors leads them to conspire against
chiropractors, chelation therapists, etc. The evidence for this
conspiracy wouldn't fill a specimen beaker. Part of the alleged
conspiracy to keep us ignorant of the wonders of our own wee wee is
the fact that many people think urine is poisonous.
One of the less far-fetched and more physiologically and even
historically sound claims is that drinking one's morning urine
('amaroli') was an ancient yoga practise designed to promote
meditation. The ancient Hindu and yoga texts that mention auto-
urine drinking, require it be done before sunrise and that only the
mid-stream sample be used. Although compliance with social mores
may be one obvious reason for this nocturnal ingestion, the pineal
hormone melatonin and its conjugated esters are present in morning
urine in significant quantities, the pineal gland secreting melatonin
maximally at about 2 am, this secretion being shut off by the eyes'
exposure to bright sunlight. Melatonin, when ingested or given
intravenously, amongst other effects, provokes tranquility and
heightened visualisation.
Medical Usage
"For almost the entire course of the 20th century,
unknown to the public, doctors and medical researchers
have been proving in both laboratory and clinical testing
that our own urine is an enormous source of vital
nutrients, vitamins, hormones, enzymes and critical
antibodies that cannot be duplicated or derived from any
other source. They use urine for healing cancer, heart
disease, allergies, auto-immune diseases, diabetes,
asthma, infertility, infections, wounds and on and on --
yet we're taught that urine is a toxic waste product. This
discrepancy between the medical truth and the public
information regarding urine is ludicrous and, as the news
releases you've just read demonstrate, can mean the
difference between life and death to you and to your
loved ones." Martha Christy
In Layman's Language
Urine is not, as many believe, the excess water from food and
liquids that goes through the intestines and is ejected from the
body as "waste". It is much different and much more. When
you eat, the food you ingest is eventually broken down in the
stomach and intestines into extremely small molecules. These
molecules are absorbed into tiny tubules in the intestinal wall
and then pass through these tubes into the blood stream.
The blood circulates throughout your body carrying these food
molecules and other nutrients, along with critical immune
defense and regulating elements such as red and white blood
cells, antibodies, plasma, microscopic proteins, hormones,
enzymes, etc., which are all manufactured at different locations
in the body.
As the blood circulates, it passes through the liver where toxins
are removed and later excreted from the body in the form of
solid waste. Eventually, this now purified "cleaned" blood
makes its way to the kidneys. When blood enters the kidneys it
is filtered through an immensely complex and intricate system
of minute tubules called nephron through which the blood is
literally "squeezed" at high pressure. This filtering process
removes excess amounts of water, salts and other elements in
the blood that your body does not need at the time.
These excess elements are collected within the kidney in the form of
a purified, sterile, watery solution called urine. Many of the
constituents of this filtered watery solution, or urine, are then
reabsorbed by the nephron and delivered back into the bloodstream.
The remainder of the urine passes out of the kidneys into the
bladder and is then excreted from the body.
The function of the kidneys is to keep the various elements in your
blood balanced. When your body doesn't need something at a
particular time, it is excreted - not because it is toxic or poisonous or
bad for the body, but simply because the body does not need that
particular element at the time.
Medical researchers have discovered that many of the elements of
the blood that are found in urine have enormous medicinal value,
and when reintroduced to the body, they boost the body's immune
defenses and stimulate healing in a way that nothing else does.
Despite what you may have been led to believe about urine,
pharmaceutical companies have grossed billions of dollars from the
sale of drugs made from urine constituents. Research is happening
every day in labs attempting to isolate specific elements of urine so
they can create new drugs and patent the substances. For instance,
Pergonal is a fertility drug made from human urine. 1992 sales of
this drug were reported at $855 million while it costs a patient $1400
a month to consume. Urokinase, a urine ingredient, is used in drug
form and sold as a miracle blood clot dissolver for unblocking
coronary arteries. Urea, medically proven to be one of the best
moisturizers in the world, is packaged in expensive creams and
lotions. Take the M out of Murine eye drops and what do you have?
Yep. It's made from carbamide - another name for synthetic urea.
A Powerful Healer

To get some understanding of how urine can be such a powerful

healing substance in and of itself, let's take a look at how urine
therapy has been known to completely eliminate allergies.
We read where researchers have discovered that allergic responses
are caused by "renegade" white blood cells that inappropriately
attack substances even when they may be no threat to the body. So
it is the activity of these renegade white blood cells, called antigen
receptors, that needs to be corrected in order to cure the allergy.
In 1982, studies published by Dr. William Linscott (in Basic and
Clinical Immunology) showed that when these antigen receptors (or
renegade white blood cells) are reintroduced into the body, the body
actually developed antibodies to these antigen receptors, and the
antibodies then stopped the allergic response.
Realizing that the urine of allergic individuals contains
the allergy causing antigen receptors, researchers
thought that to re-introduce the urine back to the allergic
individual would mean antibodies would be produced
which would then stop the allergic response. And that is
exactly what happens. Allergies have been completely
turned around with urine therapy.
Using urine in this way to cure the allergy, is one form of
isopathic treatment. You're using the same substance
that is causing the allergy, to be reintroduced to the body
to have the body manufacture its own antibody to it. If
you grasp this point, you may be able to see the ability of
this therapy to be used in just about any illness the body
may experience.
More Electrons for Your Body

Most of the time when a measurement of any given urine sample's

oxidation and reduction reading (the ORP value) is taken, it often
shows the urine in a reduced state. Chemically this means that there
are more electrons (the charge is reduced in the negative direction).
We like to say that the flow of life moves on the flow of electrons. If
there are a lot of electrons in the urine, then where are they coming
from? Yep, from you. So if your papa ever said, child, you're pissing
your life away--might there be more to that statement then meets the
ears? Free electrons can be given to free radicals to fight oxidation
so perhaps urine therapy also works along these lines. Something to
think about. Or maybe it is just that things are better the second time
around - they've already been processed somewhat once.
Open Minds Can Open Doors

Don't take this therapy lightly. Multiple sclerosis, colitis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis,
cancer, hepatitis, hyperactivity, pancreatic insufficiency, psoriasis, eczema, diabetes,
herpes, mononucleosis, adrenal failure, allergies and so many other ailments have
been said to be relieved through use of this therapy. After you overcome your initial
gag response (I know I had one), you may realize that there might just be something
to this and if you are searching for health, this is an area to investigate. There are
numerous reports and double blind studies which go back to the turn of the century
supporting the efficacy of using urine for health.
The recurring points to all of the medical research done to date on urine indicates that
it is completely sterile. If it becomes contaminated it happens after it leaves the body.
Urine is a by-product of blood filtration, not waste filtration.
Urine contains compounds that are very specific to the individual from which it comes.
It is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antineoplastic (anticancer), anticonvulsive, and
antispasmodic. It is totally non-toxic.
With research that could fill volumes, you may be wondering why you haven't heard
of this before. Well, urine is abundant (everyone has their own supply), it's free, and it
can't be patented. Reasons enough?
What do the kidneys do?

The kidneys are paired organs, which have the production of urine as their
primary function.
The kidneys are bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist. They
are located near the middle of the back, just below the rib cage, one on
each side of the spine. The kidneys are sophisticated reprocessing
machines. Every day, a persons kidneys process about 200 quarts of blood
to sift out about 2 quarts of waste products and extra water. The wastes and
extra water become urine, which flows to the bladder through tubes called
ureters. The bladder stores urine until releasing it through urination.

In the nephron (left),

tiny blood vessels
intertwine with urine-
collecting tubes.
Each kidney
contains about 1
million nephrons.

Each kidney has about a million nephrons. In the nephron, a

glomeruluswhich is a tiny blood vessel, or capillaryintertwines
with a tiny urine-collecting tube called a tubule. The glomerulus acts
as a filtering unit, or sieve, and keeps normal proteins and cells in
the bloodstream, allowing extra fluid and wastes to pass through. A
complicated chemical exchange takes place, as waste materials and
water leave the blood and enter the urinary system.
At first, the tubules receive a combination of waste materials and chemicals the body
can still use. The kidneys measure out chemicals like sodium, phosphorus, and
potassium and release them back to the blood to return to the body. In this way, the
kidneys regulate the bodys level of these substances. The right balance is necessary
for life.
In addition to removing wastes, the kidneys release three important hormones:
erythropoietin, or EPO, which stimulates the bone marrow to make red blood cells
renin, which regulates blood pressure
calcitriol, the active form of vitamin D, which helps maintain calcium for bones and for
normal chemical balance in the body
What is renal function?

The word renal refers to the kidneys. The terms renal function
and kidney function mean the same thing. Health professionals
use the term renal function to talk about how efficiently the kidneys
filter blood. People with two healthy kidneys have 100 percent of
their kidney function. Small or mild declines in kidney functionas
much as 30 to 40 percentwould rarely be noticeable. Kidney
function is now calculated using a blood sample and a formula to
find the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). The eGFR
corresponds to the percent of kidney function available.
Serious health problems occur when people have less than 25
percent of their kidney function. When kidney function drops below
10 to 15 percent, a person needs some form of renal replacement
therapyeither blood-cleansing treatments called dialysis or a
kidney transplantto sustain life.
Why do kidneys fail?
Most kidney diseases attack the nephrons, causing them to lose their filtering capacity. Damage to
the nephrons can happen quickly, often as the result of injury or poisoning. But most kidney
diseases destroy the nephrons slowly and silently. Only after years or even decades will the
damage become apparent. Most kidney diseases attack both kidneys simultaneously.
The two most common causes of kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure. People
with a family history of any kind of kidney problem are also at risk for kidney disease.
Diabetic Kidney Disease
Diabetes is a disease that keeps the body from using glucose, a form of sugar, as it should. If
glucose stays in the blood instead of breaking down, it can act like a poison. Damage to the
nephrons from unused glucose in the blood is called diabetic kidney disease. Keeping blood
glucose levels down can delay or prevent diabetic kidney disease. Use of medications called
angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) to treat
high blood pressure can also slow or delay the progression of diabetic kidney disease.
High Blood Pressure
High blood pressure can damage the small blood vessels in the kidneys. The damaged vessels
cannot filter wastes from the blood as they are supposed to.
A doctor may prescribe blood pressure medication. ACE inhibitors and ARBs have been found to
protect the kidneys even more than other medicines that lower blood pressure to similar levels.
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), one of the National Institutes of Health,
recommends that people with diabetes or reduced kidney function keep their blood pressure
below 130/80.

Your Own Perfect Medicine

You may think that when it comes to alternative health therapies - you've heard it all.
But there is one natural therapy you've probably never heard of - even though it's one of the most
powerful, most researched and most medically proven natural cures ever discovered.
No matter how hard it may be for you to stomach, the fact is that knowing the truth about this incredible
natural substance will be one of the most crucial health facts you'll ever learn. And one of the most
remarkable things about this incomparable natural therapy is that the medical community has already
been aware of its astounding efficacy for decades, and yet none of us has ever been told about it. Why?
Maybe they think it's too controversial. Or maybe, more accurately, there wasn't any monetary reward for
telling people what scientists know about one of the most extraordinary natural healing elements in the
world.
But no matter why the medical establishment has chosen to keep his invaluable information a secret, it's
time that every man, woman and child be told about the only health tool in the world that is always
available to everyone and never out of reach - physically or financially. So I want you to sit back, open
your mind and get ready to hear the incredible medical facts about human urine - the facts that will
change your life.
What You Don't Know Can Hurt You
Every one of us has a right to know that our bodies produce an invaluable source of nourishment and
healing that we can utilize to heal ourselves and to maintain our lives and our health in both everyday
circumstances and in emergencies and life-threatening situations.
Two news articles from the past that recently came across my desk vividly illustrate the absolutely tragic
consequences of the public's lack of information and our completely unfounded misconceptions
regarding our bodies' own perfect medicine:
Tom Brokaw, NBC Nightly News, October 16, 1992:
"In Egypt, rescue workers found a 37-year-old man alive in earthquake rubble. He survived almost 82
hours by drinking his own urine. His wife, daughter and mother would not and they died."
Associated Press, July, 1985:
I don't think there's any question that these women and the child would not have died had they simply
been aware of the truth that not only would their own urine not harm them, but would, in fact, have
provided a power-packed combination of liquid nutrients and critical immune factors that would have
sustained them in good health until help arrived.

The Medical Proof
For almost the entire course of the 20th century, unknown to the public, doctors and medical researchers have been proving in both
laboratory and clinical testing that our own urine is an enormous source of vital nutrients, vitamins, hormones, enzymes and critical
antibodies that cannot be duplicated or derived from any other source. They use urine for healing cancer, heart disease, allergies, auto-
immune diseases, diabetes, asthma, infertility, infections, wounds and on and on -- yet we're taught that urine is a toxic waste product.
This discrepancy between the medical truth and the public information regarding urine is ludicrous and, as the news releases you've
just read demonstrate, can mean the difference between life and death to you and to your loved ones.

When I contracted a crippling, incurable disease early in life, I used every available conventional medical and alternative healing method
over the course of many years without success. When an acquaintance suggested I try "urine therapy" I though she'd lost her mind, but
with no options left, I swallowed my prejudice and decided to give it a go. To my own (and everyone else's) amazement, my healing was
so rapid and so profound with urine therapy that no question remained in my mind that someone in the medical community had to
know more than they were telling about this incredible body substance. And as a matter of fact, they did know more - a lot more.

After many months of haunting university libraries, scanning countless microfiche files and poring over piles of medical journals, I had
amassed a small mountain of astounding research studies, findings and files on the use of urine in medicine and healing, I discovered,
among numerous other things, that urine, far from being a toxic body waste, was actually a purified derivative of the blood made by the
kidneys which contains, not body wastes, but rather an incredible array of critically important nutrients, enzymes, hormones, natural
antibodies and immune defense agents.

At the end of it all, as I sat tiredly in my chair eyeing the stacks of research papers covering my desk, I realized that the medical
community had pulled off one of the biggest hoodwinks in history. Take for instance the doctor who reported that "urine acts as an
excellent and safe natural vaccine and has been shown to cure a wide variety of disorders including hepatitis, whooping-cough,
asthma, hay fever, hives, migraines, intestinal dysfunctions, etc. It is completely safe and causes no side effects." (J. Plesch, M.D., The
Medical Press, 1947); or the oncologist who reported that "a patient with intractable ovarian cancer was treated with Human Urine
Derivative and is now completely well and enjoying the rest of her life." (Dr. M. Soeda, University of Tokyo, 1968). These remarkable
findings were published in medical journals - but did you ever hear about them?

And what about the immunologist who, after extensive clinical and laboratory research stated: "It was rapidly appreciated that undiluted
urine administered orally was therapeutically effective for Immune Therapy and was initiated when it became obvious that an allergic
condition had become uncontrollable." (Dr. C.W. Wilson, 1983, Law Hospital, Scotland). Or the Harvard medical researchers who
discovered that active "antibodies to cholera, typhoid, diphtheria, pneumonia, polio, leptospira and salmonella have been found in the
unconcentrated urine of infected individuals." (Lerner, Remington & Finland, Harvard Medical School, 1962). What abut the
Scandinavian researcher who, in 1951, conclusively proved that human urine can completely destroy tuberculosis? It's a deadly
disease, and is now resistant to antibiotics. Isn't it time someone told us that our own urine is medically proven to be anti-tubercule?
Then there's the research into wounds and burns using urea (the primary solid component of urine). As only one research
study among many reported: "In America, urea has been used for the treatment of various infected wounds and it has been
found to be extremely efficient...even the deepest wound can be treated effectively.... Urea treatment has been successful where
other treatments have failed. For external staph infections we found urea preferable to any other dressing...there are no contra-
indications to its use." (Dr. L. Muldavis, 1938, Royal Free Hospital, London).
Now these medical reports are only a few of the more than 50 research studies I compiled and published in the book Your Own
Perfect Medicine, but they certainly give an indication of the importance of what we've never been told about urine by the
medical community. As far back as 1954, the Journal of the American Medical Association (July issue) reported that "More
scientific papers have probably been published on urine than on any other organic compound." Another publication revealed
that "more than 1,000 technical and scientific papers, related only to low molecular weight substances in urine, appeared in
medical and scientific literature in one single year." All this fuss about a substance that we're told is nothing more than a body
waste?
I think one of the most interesting pieces of information on urine I came across was the fact that the amniotic fluid that
surrounds human infants in the womb is primarily urine. Actually, the infant "breathes in" urine-filled amniotic fluid continually,
and without this fluid, the lungs don't develop. Doctors also believe that the softness of baby skin and the ability of in-utero
infants to heal quickly without scarring after pre-birth surgery is due to the therapeutic properties of the urine-filled amniotic
fluid.
Reports on the extraordinary external benefits of urine abound as well. Medical studies relate remarkable cases of stubborn or
"incurable" chronic, severe eczema that miraculously disappear with urine therapy. Because urine is both anti-viral and anti-
bacterial, it's ideal for treating cuts, wounds and abrasions of all kinds. Acne, rashes, athlete's foot and fungal skin problems
respond dramatically to urine soaks and compresses as well. (You'll find complete instructions for using urine therapy
internally and externally in Your Own Perfect Medicine.)
For home use or emergency treatment care for wounds, poisonous bites or stings, and even broken bones, urine is an
incomparable, proven natural healing agent that provides instantaneous therapeutic benefits under any circumstances.
For years, people have said to me, "Well, I have heard of people surviving by ingesting their own urine, but I thought it was just
a myth." Myth it isn't. Medical fact it is. As Dr. John R. Herman remarked in his article which appeared in the New York State
Journal of Medicine in June, 1980: "Auto-uropathy (urine therapy) did flourish in many parts of the world and continues to
flourish today....there is unknown to most of us, a wide usage of uropathy and a great volume of knowledge available showing
the multitudinous advantages of this modality. Actually, the listed constituents of human urine can be carefully checked and no
items not found in human diet are found in it. Percentages differ, but urinary constituents are valuable to human metabolism."
Your Body's Own Super-Nutrition Therapy
In 1975, one of the founders of Miles Laboratories, Dr. A.H. Free, published his book Urinalysis in Clinical Laboratory Practice, in which he remarked that not
only is urine a sterile body compound (purer than distilled water), but that "it is now recognized that urine contains thousands of compounds, and as new,
more sensitive analytical tools evolve, it is quite certain that new constituents of urine will be recognized." Among the urine constituents mentioned in Dr.

As you read over this extraordinary list of nutritional elements, you can begin to understand why the stories you may have heard of people surviving on their
own urine are true. But what about other elements in urine that you've heard about?
Clearing Up the Misconceptions

If you asked a person on the street what uric acid is, he or she would invariably
answer that it's a toxic body waste. No so, say medical researchers at the
University of California at Berkeley who in 1982 reported they had discovered
that "uric acid destroys body-damaging, cancer-causing free radicals and is
considered to be one of the physiological factors that enable human beings to
live so much longer than other mammals."
But what about urea? Urea is in urine and isn't that the toxic stuff that causes
uremic poisoning? Actually, medical researchers discovered many decades
ago that urea, far from being a toxic body waste, is an incredibly versatile, far-
reaching and effective medicinal agent. In numerous medical studies, it was
shown that urea is one of the most potent non-toxic virucidal agents ever
discovered. In one particular study, the rabies and polio virus [sic] were killed
so quickly and efficiently by concentrated urea, that even the laconic
researchers themselves were surprised: "Urea is such a relatively inactive
substance and certainly not a protoplasmic poison such as are most virucidal
agents, that it is in a way surprising that rabies and poliomyelitis are killed so
easily by urea solutions" (McKay & Schroeder, Society of Experimental
Biology, 1936).
In reality, Urea is an FDA-approved medicinal agent that doctors and
researchers utilize in an amazing variety of therapeutic modalities. Because of
its remarkable and comprehensive anti-neoplastic (anti-tumor) properties, it's
presently being used in anti-cancer drugs and is extensively studied for use in
cancer treatments. The urea compound drug, glicazide, is used successfully by
the medical establishment in treating both insulin-dependent and non-insulin-
dependent diabetics.
As a natural diuretic, urea is unparalleled, and is a proven and accepted
treatment in cases of edema or swelling such as excess cerebral and spinal
pressure, glaucoma, epilepsy, meningitis, even premenstrual edema and many
other disorders in which excess fluid is a problem. As one American
neurosurgeon reported regarding a patient who nearly died form complications
following brain surgery: "Urea was administered intravenously as an
emergency measure. Within 20 minutes from the start of injection, her blood
pressure had returned to normal....from this time on her recovery was
uneventful. In this case, urea was definitely life-saving, because prior to its
administration, the patient's survival was unlikely. In many similar instances
urea was found to be life-saving" (Dr. M. Javid, University of Wisconsin).
The Physiological Answer
to a Therapeutic Mystery

The medical findings on urine and urine constituents are overwhelming, and yet it's difficult for most
people to understand why our bodies excrete elements that are so obviously valuable to human health
and well-being.
The commonly-asked question, "If your urine is so good for you, why does your body excrete it?" is best
answered by looking into how our kidneys function. As your blood moves through the circulatory system,
it flows through the kidneys at a rate of about 1200 ml of blood per minute. Inside the kidneys, the blood
is continuously filtered through a huge system of minute tubules called nephron which sift out excess
water, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, salts, and hundreds of other elements including vital antibodies, urea
and uric acid.
A large portion of these key physiological elements are reabsorbed into the bloodstream, but a certain
amount of critical blood constituents are pooled by the kidney into a liquid which doctors refer to as a
"plasma ultrafiltrate" (we call it urine). Much of this sterile, nutrient filled ultrafiltrate, or urine, is
reabsorbed and some remains in the kidney for a period of time and is eventually released into a tube
called the urethra which empties the urine into the bladder where it is finally excreted. Now you're
probably wondering why the body excretes valuable nutrients, water, hormones, enzymes, etc. that are
critical to body functioning. Doesn't it make more sense to retain these elements? If urine is a collection
of such life-sustaining elements, why does the body get rid of it?
The answer is that the kidneys excrete a portion of urine as a way of removing certain key elements in
your blood that are simply not needed at a specific point in time. For instance, you've just been out
jogging. You come home and have one or two big glasses of water to drink. Now at this point you've
probably taken in more water than your body actually needs. But not to worry -- your kidneys will balance
the amount of water delivered into your bloodstream by your copious water drinking and through the
urine will excrete whatever amount of water from the blood that isn't needed at the time.
Now water is certainly a life-sustaining element the body cannot do without. So why is it
excreted from the body? The answer is obvious. There are times when there's too much
water in your system and it needs to be excreted.
It's a physiological fact that in order for us to function normally, the amounts or
concentrations of every element in our blood must be carefully and strictly controlled and
this is done by the kidneys. Too much water in the blood is fatal. Too much salt in the
blood is deadly. As wonderful a nutrient as vitamin C is, too high a concentration of it or
any nutrient could kill you. This is why the kidneys excrete valuable elements from the
body -- too much of any good thing isn't good for your health.
The same is true of urea. People who have heard of uremic poisoning are surprised when
they read the medical research showing urea to be a widely-used, FDA-approved medicine.
But just like any other element in the blood, urea only becomes dangerous to the body
when the kidneys are damaged or diseased and can't properly balance the amount of urea
(and all other substances) in the bloodstream.
Your kidneys aren't doing damage to your body by getting rid of particular excess
nutrients, they're just simply excreting the precise amount not presently needed by your
body at a given time. And the same goes for practically every nutrient, enzyme, hormone,
antibody, etc. that are critical to your survival -- the kidneys keep what your body needs at
a certain time, and excretes what it isn't momentarily using into your urine. And as medical
scientists and doctors have discovered, these urinary ingredients extracted from the blood
can be therapeutic magic bullets.
A Billion Dollar Industry

Despite what the public has been led to believe about urine,
pharmaceutical companies have grossed billions of dollars from the
sale of drugs made from urine constituents. Pergonal, a fertility drug
made from human urine, earned a reported $855 million in sales in
1992, and sales ($1400 a month per patient) have increased yearly.
Urokinase, a urine ingredient, is used in drug form and sold as a
"miracle blood clot dissolver" for unblocking coronary arteries. Urea,
medically proven to be one of the best moisturizers in the world has
been a boon to cosmetic companies who package it in expensive,
glamorized creams and lotions. Ever used Murine ear drops? They're
made from carbamide -- another name for synthetic urea.
When you look at the real facts, the tragedy of the general
disinformation campaign on urine is surpassed only by the irony of
our unwitting, and often incredibly expensive purchases of what we all
mistakenly but firmly believe to be our bodies' "useless" and
"offensive" waste-product, urine.
Cancer cells release various
antigens, some of which appear in
the urine. Oral auto-urotherapy is
suggested as a new treatment
modality for cancer patients. It will
provide the intestinal lymphatic
system the many tumor antigens
against which antibodies may be
produced. These antibodies may be
transpierced through the blood
stream and attack the tumor and its
cells.
The fuller's chief work was cleansing and whitening garments for festive and
religious occasions. The white garment typifies Christ's spotless righteousness,
put on the saints. Revelation 3:4-5; Revelation 3:18; Revelation 6:11;
Revelation 7:9; Revelation 7:14; Ecclesiastes 9:8, "let thy garments be always
white"; the present, even if gloomy, should never rob saints of the festive
joyousness of spirit which faith bestows, in consciousness of peace with God
now, and in the prospect of glory for ever. Fulling or cleansing cloth was
effected by stamping on the garments with the feet or bats in tubs of water
containing some alkaline dissolved.
Christ's mission, including both the first and second
advents, is compared to "fuller's soap" in respect to the
judicial process now secretly going on, hereafter to be
consummated at the second advent, whereby the
unclean are separated from the clean.
