Theyallhavesensoryreceptorsthatarespecificforcertainstimuli.
Eg.,thenosehassensoryreceptorsforodors(smells),taste,
equilibrium,hearing,etc.
Sensoryneuronssendnerveimpulsesfromsensoryreceptorstothe
centralnervoussystem.Thebraintheninterpretsthenerve
impulsestoformaresponse.

About70%ofallsensoryinformationreachesthebrain
throughtheeyes.Disordersinvisioncaninterferewitha
patientsabilitytofunctionindependently,perceivethe
world,andenjoybeauty.

cavity).
