Eye Scanner
Most accurate biometric system but there are flaws

Retinal scan measures the pattern of blood vessels in the back of the eye.
Vessels are revealed using infrared light through the pupil.

Iris scans can be performed using a video camera, highlighting the ridges and
patterns on the colored portion of your eye

*hackers are able to hold up a picture of an eyeball with a hole in the middle to
create the realistic illusion of an authorized eye ball
Fingerprint Scanner
Fingerprint scanners work by detecting the pattern of ridges and valleys in a
fingerprint

Its easy to use because you cant lose a fingerprint or change it

Typically 97-99% accurate

Its the most popular because its THAT AWESOME!

But the scanners still arent perfect

Falsifying a fingerprint is much easier than it seems. The easiest, but not most
effective, consists of making a duplicate fingerprint with tape and placing it
on your finger. The heat of your finger resembles that of a true fingerprint.
Facial Recognition
A camera analyzes nodal points on your face, such as the width between your
eyes and nose, to create an unique face template.

The best biometric machines achieve 80-90% accuracy. However even there are
still problems.

Security-conscious business companies are using this type of biometric security.

It can be beaten by holding up a picture of the persons face to the camera.

Privacy Issues
Although these scans would have a lot of your information they help provide the
security need for a nations security

In order for a nation to have high security there needs to be high amounts of
private information (from agents) needed to maintain security
Success Story
At the Statue of Liberty the use of fingerprint scanners are used to secure the
private lockers

Some banks use eye scans and facial scans to secure safety deposit boxes and
secure bank accounts
