Depression is chronic and acute because this disease can last long or in a
short time of period depending on the person.
Depression can be lethal and non-lethal because in some cases the person
will cause suicide.
Depression could be genetic or congenital because some come from our
family and others are develop by life experiences.
THE AFFECTED BODY SYSTEMS
This disease can be diagnosed by physical exam, specific questions and blood test
too.
This disease can be treated with medications, lifestyle, therapy and staying
connected with others.
The treatments are not 100% curable but they are helpful and improves the
persons life.
Some of the problems of the treatments is that not for all patients are the same
and can not be help the same way. Meaning that they have try different methods
for each that supports them and actually make improvements.
To prevent this disease is not an easy way because you dont ever have full control
of your surroundings but one way is to keep them self together and been positive.
PROGNOSIS FOR THE FUTURE
This diseases can affect us in the future by many ways but there is no
specific thing how it will affect us because not everyone reacts the same way
to it.
You can not actually put an end to depression because people go through a
lot in life and each person is affected differently.
At the rate of increase, it will be the 2nd most disabling condition in the
world by 2020, behind heart disease.
