SUPPLY
Contingents are required to deploy with
sufficient stocks of supply items, including
spare parts and consumables to last them for
a period of six months.

Class I Fresh food and combat rations, drinking and
bulk water.
Class II. Equipment, spare parts, general supplies and
medical supplies.
Class III. Fuel and lubricants.
Class IV. Construction, fortification and engineering

RE-SUPPLY
Foreseen needs of supplies, i.e. re-supply, is
a TCC responsibility. The JLOC will co-
ordinate with ISS Sections, Specialized Units
and Contractors for the provision of limited
second line support.

Request procedures
(1) For UNAMID Owned Equipment / Resources
through S4-G4-J4 Staff using any form of
communication apart from verbal request.
(2) For COE according to TCC national regulations.

RATION
All Contingents will deploy with dry rations
for a period of 60 days after which UNAMID,
through contractor, will provide all rations. In
addition, the Mission will hold:
(1) 30 days Combat rations reserve at BN Location.
(2) 7 days Combat rations reserve at Sect HQ.
(3) 7 days Combat rations reserve at Log Base.

WATER
Be self-sustaining
Deploy with 30 Days of potable water.
UNAMID will provide raw water source to
contingents.
All contingents will need to be self-sufficient
in treating water within 14 days after arrival
in location.

FUEL
UNAMID will only provide diesel fuel for
generators, vehicles, cookers, and aviation
fuel for aircrafts.
Fuel will be provided at all locations using
local bridging contracts or UNAMID owned
resources. No gas or petrol will be provided.

AMMUNITIONS
maintain national stock levels of operational
ammunition and explosives in a quantity.
Operational ammunition and explosives expended
in action will be reimbursed by the United Nations.
United Nations will reimburse contributing
countries per man per month to cover weapons and
training ammunition and explosives.

AMMUNITIONS
The contributing country is responsible for re-
supply of explosives, training ammunition as well as
transportation costs of those into the mission area.
Units/subunits are authorized to maintain national
stock levels of training ammunition.
Units/subunits prepare the "Monthly Report of
Ammunition and Explosives and submit to Sect
HQ on 20th day of every month.
