Understanding Air
Pressure
Air pressure is the least noticed
change that occurs in the weather.
However, changes in air pressure can
cause, changes in the wind, which
affects the amount of humidity in
the air, the temperature, and in
weather forecasting.
Air Pressure Defined
Air pressure is simply the pressure exerted by
the weight of the air above.
Average air pressure at sea level is 1
kilogram per square centimeter.
