ESTABLISHING the KINGDOM

I. Gods Mandate to establish the Kingdom

II. The Character of the Kingdom
III. The Current Situation of the Church
IV. Kingdom Dominion: The Picture
V. Transitioning the Church to the Kingdom
VI. Possessing the Promised Land
Gods Mandate:
To Establish the
Kingdom
I. Satan is the god of this world:
Luk 4:5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a
high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms
of the world in a moment of time.
Luk 4:6 And the devil said to Him, "All this
authority I will give You, and their glory; for this
has been delivered to me, and I give it to
whomever I wish.
II. Gods Purpose & Mandate for Man

A. Redemption of the Earth: Man is made

and created in Gods image and likeness
to take dominion over all the earth.
Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image,
according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the
cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that
creeps on the earth."
Gen 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the
image of God He created him; male and female He created
them.
Gen 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them,
"Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have
dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,
and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Gen 2:15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him in
the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
III. Refocus the priorities of the Church
and Transition the Church for
Kingdom Dominion!
The Character of the Kingdom:
I. The Kingdom is a Monarchy:
A. Not a democracy

1.) Not a government of the people, by the people,

and for the people;
It is the rule of the One vs. popularity
2.) King is not voted into power

3.) People are free to do what they want

there is individual freedom and rights
B. God is King of kings and Lord of lords:
1.) He is sovereign His authority is absolute
2.) His word is law and can never be broken forever

3.) He is accountable to no one

4.) Responsibility of the King is to provide for everyone.
5.) King owns everything: people, property, and
everything in His domain.
C. King must have a people, subjects called by His name. In
the Kingdom of God, to qualify for citizenship we must be
sons of God and be a royal priesthood.
Rev 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to
our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
D. King must have a territory of his own, called a domain.
II. Colony is an extension or expansion of the
Kingdom: We are in the world but not of the world.
(Mat 13:24) Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The
kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;
(Mat 13:47) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that
was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,

III. Transforming lives through permeating human

society and penetrating evil!
(Mat 13:33) Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of
heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three
measures of meal till it was all leavened."

IV. Nearness and urgency of the Kingdom:

(Mat 3:2) and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at
hand!"
V. Priority of the Kingdom: Gods reign and
righteousness in our lives will result in His covenanted
blessings:
(Mat 6:33) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and
all these things shall be added to you.

VI. When the Holy Spirit casts out demons in us, the
Holy Spirit resides in us to establish His Kingdom:
(Mat 12:28) But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the
kingdom of God has come upon you.
VII. The Kingdom will reign within us first, then trough
us:
(Luke 17:21) nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the
kingdom of God is within you."
VIII. When God reigns within, we receive the Holy
Spirits righteousness, peace, and joy
(Rom 14:17) for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but
righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
IX. Entrance and membership to the Kingdom is through
son-ship:
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

X. To establish the Kingdom we must be Gods warriors

and engage Gods enemies:
(Mat 11:12) And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom
of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

XI. From insignificance to greatness and blessings to

others:
(Mat 13:31) Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of
heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field,
XII. Cost of possessing the Kingdom: we must be willing
to part with everything to possess the kingdom!
(Mat 13:44) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a
field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all
that he has and buys that field.
(Mat 13:45) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking
beautiful pearls,

XIII. Cost and Rewards of the Kingdom:

(Luke 18:29-30) So He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no
one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the
sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more in this
present time, and in the age to come eternal life."

XIV. Disciples of the kingdom is able to use both

traditional (old) and revelation (new) teachings / practices.
(Mat 13:52) Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed
concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of
his treasure things new and old."
XV. Kingdom authority is given to the sons:
(Mat 16:19) And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and
whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you
loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

XVI. Kingdom is about forgiveness and compassion.

(Mat 18:23) Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who
wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

XVII. Kingdom motivation for work is love and not money.

Here God exposed the true intentions of the hearts of the
men by being unequally generous to those who worked
less.
(Mat 20:1) "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out
early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.
XVIII. Our relationship with Christ is to be a bride without
spot, wrinkle or blemish, many reject God because of
bondage to this world:
(Mat 22:2) "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a
marriage for his son,

XIX. Kingdom is about STEWARDSHIP and not about

OWNERSHIP!
(Mat 25:14) "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far
country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.

XX. The Kingdom is veiled and only found by those who

ardently seek it:
(Mark 4:11) And He said to them, "To you it has been given to know the
mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things
come in parables,
XXI. The Kingdom belongs to those with child like
humility, dependence and trust:
(Mark 10:14) But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and
said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them;
for of such is the kingdom of God.

XXII. The Pharisees failed to recognize that justification

was no longer through the law but through repentance
and belief, were the means to enter the Kingdom of
God. They failed to realize that the law and the prophets
pointed to the Messiah.
(Luke 16:16) "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time
the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into
it.
The CURRENT SITUATION
of the CHURCH
I. The Current Paradigm and Practice of
the Church:
A. Unbeliever Evangelized
Churched (member)
B. Church: Baptized in water and in the
Spirit (speaking in tongues)
C. Church Activities and Programs:
1. Worship
2. Cell Group or G-12
3. Bible Study
4. Prayer and Intercession
5. Youth, Mens, Couples, Ministries and
Fellowships
6. Evangelism
7. Missions: Medical, 10/40, relief &
disaster, etc.
D. From Sunday afternoon to
Sunday morning: Back to the world
1. Living in Compromise we do as the world
does
2. Get along with all our trials, problems,
burdens, financial struggles, physical
afflictions, etc.
3. We may attend some additional church
activities: cell meeting, midweek service,
prayer, etc.
4. We comfort ourselves by thinking, Im okay,
Im, just like everyone else in church.
5. If I am to grow spiritually, I have to be a
pastor, quit my job and attend seminary.
E. Pastors Goals:
1. I have to build my Church:
a) More members Evangelism bigger
tithes

b) Build a big sanctuary to gain more

credibility to be more effective in
evangelism to have bigger tithes to

c) Keep members busy with programs

F. Mindset of the Congregations:
1. We believe we cant change the world!
We just have to be practical, make things
convenient for us, and compromise with
the worlds ways. I need my job to feed
my family. There is a resignation to the
ways things are.
2. We just have to wait, be patient, and
endure all these earthly sufferings till we
get to heaven where we will live happily
ever after.
3. Righteousness is not possible here in
on earth!
G. Summing up the Paradigms:
1. Church Centered: The goal or the end
of all the activities, and ministries are for
the building up of our Church, which is
expressed through numbers.
2. Pastor / Clergy: It is the responsibility
of the Pastor / Clergy to speak and listen
to God. He will in turn convey to us
Gods message. Therefore, we are
listening to someones experience of
God. Most of us are receiving knowledge
and not revelation. With all the Sunday
preaching and bible study, we are not
transformed.
3. All activity revolves around the Pastor. We
expect the pastor to pray for us, bless our
houses and cars, preach Gods message,
counsel us, manage the church, maybe blame
him for why we are not growing spiritually,
etc.
4. Heaven is our final destination.
5. Salvation is the highest level of attainment
of majority of the congregation.
6. In the past seventeen hundred years, the
church has not produced the quality and
quantity of disciples among their
congregations that will take dominion of the
earth.
H. Result:
MAJORITY OF THE CONGREGATION ARE
NOMINAL CHRISTIANS IN BONDAGE TO
THE WORLD.
We have not succeeded in the last 1700 years in
raising up believers in the stature of the First
Century Christians, manifesting the fullness of
Christ! In fact, we are turning out religious people
in our congregation because there is a mental
knowledge of Gods Word and a feeling and
thinking of being of good standing with God. Is
this not a form of religiosity? A thinking and
feeling of being in good standing with God, but in
reality we are not facing unrighteous issues in our
lives.
Kingdom Dominion: The Picture
Psa 8:4 What is man that You are
mindful of him, and the son of man that
You visit him?
Psa 8:5 For You have made him a little
lower than the angels, and You have
crowned him with glory and honor.
Psa 8:6 You have made him to have
dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet
I. Picture of Gods Kingdom Dominion of
your LOCALITY: 8 PILLARS of Society (all
sectors of society) GOD REIGNS &
RULES!
1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the
kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all
rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies
under His feet.

Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there

were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of
this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and
of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
II. KEY: ARMY OF DISCIPLES / LEADERS
who will stand and walk with God all the
way
Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit,
Transitioning the Church to
the Kingdom
I. Critical Issue:
How to Raise up an
ARMY OF DISCIPLES?

II. Goals of our Local Church in order to

attain Kingdom Dominion:
A. Understand the Character of the
Kingdom
B. DISCIPLESHIP
C. CHURCH to be the BREEDING Ground
for Disciples: House/Cell Church First
Century Style
D. Priest to Add Responsibility of King
E. King to Add Responsibility of Priest
F. Priest to be Itinerant Church Worker:
G. Bring the Church out of Egypt, Through
the Wilderness, and into the Promised
Land
III. Discipleship
A. Because we are made in Gods image
and likeness, man is to manifest the
fullness of Christ.

Col 2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the

Deity lives in bodily form,
Col 2:10 and you have been given fullness in
Christ, who is the head over every power and
authority.
B. The heavens is the Lord, but the earth
He has given for man to have dominion.

Psa 115:16 The heaven, even the

heavens, are the LORD's; But the earth
He has given to the children of men.
C. As we manifest the fullness of Christ,
creation is transformed. Transformation
is a form of Kingdom Dominion.
Rom 8:18 For I consider that the
sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory
which shall be revealed in us.
Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation
of the creation eagerly waits for the
revealing of the sons of God.
Rom 8:20 For the creation was subjected
to futility, not willingly, but because of Him
who subjected it in hope;
Rom 8:21 because the creation itself also
will be delivered from the bondage of
corruption into the glorious liberty of the
children of God.
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole
creation groans and labors with birth pangs
together until now.
IV. The Church and Kingdom
Dominion:
A. The church as bride of Christ reflects
the fullness of Christ. The church as
bride is therefore an army of disciples.
And disciples are carbon copies of
Christ.

Eph 5:27 that He might present her to Himself

a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle
or any such thing, but that she should be holy
and without blemish
Eph 5:27 that He might present her to Himself
a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle
or any such thing, but that she should be holy
and without blemish

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give

Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has
come, and His wife has made herself ready."

Rev 19:8 And to her it was granted to be

arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the
fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints
B. The Church commanded to make disciples
of all nations. Whole nations must be
discipled or colonized. Colonization is
kingdom dominion.

Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of

all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit,

1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when He

delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when
He puts an end to all rule and all authority and
power.
Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded:
And there were loud voices in heaven,
saying, "The kingdoms of this world have
become the kingdoms of our Lord and of
His Christ, and He shall reign forever and
ever!"

think like them because their beliefs
and values are embedded in
language.

representation of the king
4. Religion
5. People to owe allegiance to
the king of Spain
