State Funding

General Operating Budget Revenue Sources

State Appropriations (General Fund): This funding is provided by the Legislature,
based upon available State revenues and the institution's allocation generated
through the funding formula. This is the largest source of institutional funding; fulfilling
the college's mission is dependent upon the continuing support that this allocation
provides.
Authorized Revenues (Non-General Fund): In addition to General Fund dollars,
the State Operating Budget is comprised of Student fees and Investment Income.
Student Fees: The following fees make up the majority of non-general fund revenue
sources.
Registration Fees charge for each credit hour and/or course;
Tuition additional fee assessed for nonresident students;
Miscellaneous Fees other fees such as new student, application fee, transcript, and late
registration.
