 HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Human Trafficking is a topic that caught my interest my Junior year at

UNCP. I took a Human Trafficking class offered at UNCP and have continued
educating myself on the topicsince then. Over the summer of 2016, I
started a social media challenge informing the people around me about the
dangers of Human Trafficking. The challenge included a video full of
information and safety tips, and I challenged my friends and family to share
the video and challenge at least 5 of their friends. The end result of the
challenge had 540 views and 32 shares!
 SIGNING A PETITION
The petition I chose to sign is urging the Senate to pass
TheStrengthening Child Welfare Response to Trafficking Act (H.R.469),
the petition was started 11 months ago and has 212, 090 signatures with
a goal of 300,000.
