--HOW INTEGRATING PHILOSOPHY FOR

PEACE?

--The concept of Muslim Ummah: Panislamism

(Jamajudin Afghani worked a lot on building and
conceptualization of Panislamism; Iqbal also worked
a great deal after Afghani on it);
-- Despite of it, Islam called for maintaining peace
and harmony with other religious communities and
other Nations;
--The concept of JIHAD: JIHAD-i-AKBAR:
FIGHTING ONES NAFS;

--DIFFERENCE between QATAL and JIHAD:

JIHAD cannot be forged without a just reason: That
reason too is the prerogative of the ruler if it is backed
by the Imam;

--Imam Abu Hanifa: Jihad in Islam is defensive, not

offensive (Implying: we cannot forge it if the Dar-ul-
Islam is not first attacked by the infidels;
