Why have we chosen this song?

We chose this song because we
thought it would be fun and its flexible
to be creative with.
It doesnt have drug use or swearing in
the original music video so we
wouldnt have to worry about that
when it comes to the competition
rules.
Our ambitions with this project is to
have fun and entertain our audience.
 Who is our target audience?
Our target audience is
10-18 year olds. Our
range is so wide because
it has no bad language or
any sort of drug use.
It can appeal to the
younger teenagers
because we are going to
focus on visuals a lot
instead of the narrative.
It will suit the interest of
older teenagers because
from our survey we found
out that 80% of our class
thought that dance music
makes a music video for
attractive.
We made a survey to find
out the target audience for
the song we chose and our
music video. The people in
our class are in the age
range of 16-21 so we know
that teenagers would be
attracted to our music
video because it is a dance
song.

 Idea outline
We have the idea of getting people from our
class so its not just the people in our group.
Having footage of people getting ready so it will
be a big build up for when the chorus starts.
We will edit the music video fast paced and
getting colour tint over some scenes. Some
parts will be in slow motion and reverse.
Our video wont have a narrative because the
song doesnt have a story line. It will be
performance based with a large group of
people doing a routine.
We are going to use low and wide camera
angles with some camera angles from above
when the whole group is together at some
points.
