INTRODUCTION
This Project is a based on data storage and
remote device for rain rate. The aim of this
project used to monitor and display rain
rate data log from different type of sensors.
Data being collected and will sort based on
time recorded. This information will be used
to make relation between rain rate and
satellite signal strength feedback.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
There are numerous case reported involving
rain rate affected the satellite signal
especially in satellite television. hence with
data collected by this device we used to find
relation between rain rate and satellite signal
strength. Furthermore Some device unable to
interact with multiple input simultaneously.
OBJECTIVE

to interact and record data

between multiple input
simultaneously.

To identify relation between

rain rate and satellite signal
strength.
LIMITATION
Limitation to the range of signal based on
component used.

Select sensor: by using switch select the sensor to

read, by default all sensor selected.

Display All/Selected data: Lcd display will display the

current reading recorded.

Details data: If Yes, device will connected to user

terminal and data will be display in details. If No, it
will be display the current reading data.

Details data in details: Display data in table (.xls format)

Convert to graph: If Yes, data will be convert to graph. If

No, the process will end.

Display graph: Display data in graph.

End: End of Process

EXPECTED RESULT
From this project I wanted to
achieve:
1) To interact and record data between
multiple input sensor simultaneously
and using real time clock to sort the
data.

2) The relation between rain rate and

satellite signal strength. Which how the
signal were effected and the range of
rain rate interference with signal.

CONCLUSION
Weather in Malaysia characterized by two monsoon
namely monsoon south west and north east
monsoon. Northeast monsoon bring heavy rain
especially to states in east coast of peninsular
Malaysia and western Sarawak, while south west
monsoon relatively is more dry. This phenomena
will affected satellite signal because satellite dish
works by capture satellite signal from space, thus
during cloudy or raining the signal strength drop.

This project aim to achieve interaction and

recorded data between multiple input sensor
simultaneously and the result of this project will be
used to determine relation between rain rate and
satellite signal strength.
