MY LIFE AS A STUDENT BACK

Tell something about your course:

Physical therapy provides services to individuals and populations to

develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability
throughout the lifespan. This includes providing services in circumstances where
movement and function are threatened by ageing, injury, disease or
environmental factors. Functional movement is central to what it means to be
healthy. It is concerned with identifying and maximising quality of life and
movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention,
treatment/intervention, habilitation and rehabilitation. This encompasses
physical, psychological, emotional, and social well being. Physical therapy
involves the interaction between physical therapist, patients/clients, other health
professionals, families, care givers, and communities in a process where
movement potential is assessed and goals are agreed upon, using knowledge and
skills unique to physical therapists.
MY LIFE AS A STUDENT BACK

Where do I see myself 6years from now?

Six years from now, I will be 24 years old. Having been

passed the Board Exam for Physical Therapy, I see myself
boarding the plane going to London to work along with my
Aunt Mylene who works as a physical therapist at some
private hospital. I see myself starting to build my future and
establishing a promising career. I can also see myself taking
mini odysseys around the city, weaving inspiration from the
magic of the metropolitan for a novel which I plan to write.
MY LIFE AS A STUDENT BACK

Hardest part of being a student

As clich as it sounds, life really is not a bed of roses. There

are so many problems that occur both in expected and unexpected
moments. I think the most difficult part in being a student is
managing the time. There are these moments when I need to do a
lot of things and theres just so little time! Prioritizing which comes
first really is not as easy as it seems. Proper time-management is
really a must in college. Without it, youll be stuck with a mountain
load of work.
