Releasing the Demand Plan

A consensus plan, the demand plan is released to Supply Network Planning through the Live Cache.
The demand plan is released via either a push or a pull mechanism; that is, either the Demand Planner or the SNP
This process creates demand orders in the live Cache where they can be worked on by the SNP planner who
makes sourcing decisions that takes the complete supply network into consideration.

The first is to include the locations as characteristic values in the Info Cube. The location split is therefore done in
the Info Cube, and not during the release from Demand Planning to Supply Network Planning.
The second, less common, option is to do the location split during the release to supply network planning. In
supply network, data is planned separately in each location. This means that if the forecast is created without
planning the amount of each product at each location, the user must distribute the forecast data out to the relevant
