LITERATURE REVIEW
Nirmal, P. K. Jain, and A. Kumar; Interleaved dc to dc buck converter for low
power application; 2015.
The above paper helps in understanding how to reduce the size of filter
component by using Interleaved buck converter technique.
M. A. Shrud, A. Kharaz, A. S. Ashur, M. Shater, and I. Benyoussef; A study
of modeling and simulation for interleaved buck converter; 2010.
The above paper concludes that good stability, robustness, fast dynamic response
and equal current distribution were achieved using interleaved buck converter.
Yabin Zhang, P. E. Bagnoli, and E. Franchi; Theoretical design of compact
multi-phase interleaved buck dc-dc converter for automotive power
applications; 2012
The above paper outlined that multiphase interleaved topology is adopted to
prevent much heat generated in devices and large voltage ripple in the load.

PROJECT STATEMENT

The aim is to get low output voltage i.e. 2 volts or even lesser.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE

PROJECT

To get low DC voltage as output.

Reduce the value of Inductor and Capacitor.
Reduce the voltage and current ripple in the output.

METHODOLOGY
Phase 1: Literature review and analysis of the Interleaved Buck
converter.
Phase 2: Designing and developing the circuit using LTspice software
Phase 3: Developing and testing the prototype.
