PROBLEM STATEMENT (1)

A study to assess the quality of life of
post burn patients with selected factors
in a selected hospital of Delhi, with a
view to develop & evaluate the
effectiveness of informational booklet on
prevention and management of
psychological and social problems of post
burn patients in terms of knowledge
among home health care givers.

OBJECTIVES
To assess the quality of life of post burn
patients with selected factors.
To identify the factors that determines
quality of life of post burn patients.
To compare the quality of life of post
burn patients with different area and
degree of burn.
To assess the knowledge of home
health care givers on prevention &
management of psychological & social
problem of post burn patients.

 To develop informational booklet for home

health care givers of post burn patients on
prevention & management of psychological
& social problems of post burn patients
To evaluate the effectiveness of informational
booklet in terms of knowledge of home
health care givers of post burn patients
To find out the relationship between pre test
knowledge score and post test knowledge
scores of home health care givers on
prevention & management of social and
psychological problems of post burn
patients

A study to assess the prevalence of
risk factors of stroke & to develop
and evaluate the effectiveness of
information booklet about risk factors
, early warning signs and preventive
measures of stroke in terms of
knowledge among adult population
in selected community of Delhi.

OBJECTIVES
To assess the prevalence of risk factors of stroke by
assessing blood pressure & BMI.
To assess the knowledge of adult population about
the risk factors of stroke.
To assess the knowledge of adult population about
the early warning signs of stroke.
To seek co-relation of knowledge regarding risk
factors, early warning signs & preventive measures
of stroke with the selected variables such as age,
sex, educational status, type of activity schedule,
tobacco consumption, alcohol consumption and
history of chronic disease.
