Longing for light, we wait

in darkness. Longing for

truth, we turn to you. Make
us your own, your holy
people, light for the world to
see.

Christ, be our light! Shine in

our hearts. Shine through the
darkness. Christ, be our
light! Shine in your church
gathered today.

Longing for peace, our

world is troubled. Longing
for hope, many despair. Your
word alone has powr to
save us. Make us your living
voice.

Christ, be our light! Shine in

our hearts. Shine through the
darkness. Christ, be our
light! Shine in your church
gathered today.

Longing for food, many are

hungry. Longing for water,
many still thirst. Make us
your bread, broken for
others, shared until all are
fed.

Christ, be our light! Shine in

our hearts. Shine through the
darkness. Christ, be our
light! Shine in your church
gathered today.

Longing for shelter, many

are homeless. Longing for
warmth, many are cold.
Make us your building,
sheltering others, walls
made of living stone.

Christ, be our light! Shine in

our hearts. Shine through the
darkness. Christ, be our
light! Shine in your church
gathered today.

Many the gifts, many the

people, many the hearts that
yearn to belong. Let us be
servants to one another,
making your kingdom come.

Christ, be our light! Shine in

our hearts. Shine through the
darkness. Christ, be our
light! Shine in your church
gathered today.

I confess to almighty God and to you,

my brothers and sisters, that I have
greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in
my words, in what I have done and in
what I have failed to do

through my fault, through my

fault, through my most grievous
fault;
therefore I ask blessed Mary everVirgin, all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters, to
pray for me to the Lord our God.

Lord, have
mercy.

Lord, have
mercy.

Christ, have
mercy.

Christ, have
mercy.

Lord, have
mercy.

Lord, have
mercy.

Gospel

Mark 10: 13-16

I believe in one God, the Father

almighty, maker of heaven and
earth, of all things visible and
invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.

God from God, Light from Light, true

God from true God, begotten, not
made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made. For
us men and for our salvation he came
down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate
of the Virgin Mary, and became
man.

For our sake he was crucified under

Pontius Pilate, he suffered death
and was buried, and rose again on
the third day in accordance with the
Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven and is

seated at the right hand of the
Father. He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead and
His kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the

Lord, the giver of life, who
proceeds from the Father and the
Son, who with the Father and the
Son is adored and glorified, who
has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in One, Holy, Catholic and

Apostolic Church. I confess One
Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the
resurrection of the dead and the life
of the world to come. Amen

Lord, Hear our

Prayer!

Take my heart, O Lord, take my

hopes and dreams.
Take my mind with all its plans
and schemes.
Give me nothing more than your
love and grace.
These alone, O God, are enough
for me.

Take my thoughts, O Lord, and

my memory.
Take my tears, my joys, my
liberty.
Give me nothing more than your
love and grace.
These alone, O God, are enough
for me.

I surrender, Lord, all I have and

hold.
I return to you your gifts untold.
Give me nothing more than your
love and grace.
These alone, O God, are enough
for me.

When the darkness falls on my

final days,
take the very breath that sang
your praise.
Give me nothing more than your
love and grace.
These alone, O God, are enough
for me.

May the Lord accept the sacrifice at

your hands for the praise and glory of
His Name, for our good and the good of
all His Holy Church!

The Lord be
with you.

And with your

spirit.

Lift up your
hearts.

We lift them up
to the Lord.

Let us give
thanks to the
Lord our God.

It is right and
just

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts.

Heaven and earth are full, are full of
your glory.
Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna in the
highest.
Blessed is he who comes, who comes
in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna in the
highest.

When we eat this bread and

drink this cup, we proclaim
Your death, O Lord, until You
come again!

Amen. Amen. Amen.

Amen. Amen. Amen.
Amen.

Lamb of God, you take away the sins of

the world, have mercy on us! [2x]
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of
the world, grant us peace!

Lord, I am not worthy that

you should enter under my
roof, but only say the word
and my soul shall be healed.

One bread, one body, one cup,

one call, one faith, one Spirit
present in us all. One prayer, one
blessing, one hope, one peace,
One church, one people, one
love released.

Is not this bread which we

share, the body of our
Lord? Is not this wine
which we drink, the blood
of Christ out-poured?

One bread, one body, one cup,

one call, one faith, one Spirit
present in us all. One prayer, one
blessing, one hope, one peace,
One church, one people, one
love released.

I am the bread of life, eat

and you shall live. To
those who share this meal,
my strength Ill always
give.

One bread, one body, one cup,

one call, one faith, one Spirit
present in us all. One prayer, one
blessing, one hope, one peace,
One church, one people, one
love released.

I am the living bread, as

manna from the sky. This
bread I give to you, that
you may never die.

One bread, one body, one cup,

one call, one faith, one Spirit
present in us all. One prayer, one
blessing, one hope, one peace,
One church, one people, one
love released.

No one will come to me,

unless our God has led.
And I shall raise them up,
raise them from the dead!

One bread, one body, one cup,

one call, one faith, one Spirit
present in us all. One prayer, one
blessing, one hope, one peace,
One church, one people, one
love released.

I, the Lord of sea and sky, I

have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin
My hand will save.

I, who made the stars of

night, I will make their
darkness bright. Who will
bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I

have heard you calling in the
night. I will go, Lord, if you lead
me. I will hold your people in
my heart.

I, the Lord of snow and rain,

I have borne my peoples
pain. I have wept for love of
them. They turn away.

I will break their hearts of

stone, Give them hearts for
love alone. I will speak my
word to them. Whom shall I
send?

Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I

have heard you calling in the
night. I will go, Lord, if you lead
me. I will hold your people in
my heart.

I, the Lord of wind and

flame, I will tend the poor
and lame. I will set a feast for
them. My hand will save.

Finest bread I will provide

Till their hearts be satisfied. I
will give my life to them.
Whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I

have heard you calling in the
night. I will go, Lord, if you lead
me. I will hold your people in
my heart.

Make me a channel of your peace.

Where there is hatred,
let me bring your love.
Where there is injury,
your pardon, Lord,
And where theres doubt,
true faith in you.

Make me a channel of your peace.

Where theres despair in life,
let me bring hope.
Where there is darkness only light,
And where theres sadness ever joy.

O Master, grant that

I may never seek
So much to be consoled,
as to console,
To be understood,
as to understand,
To be loved, as to love,
with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace.

It is in pardoning
that we are pardoned,
In giving of ourselves
that we receive,
And in dying that
were born to eternal life.
