Balik-Paaralan Para Sa Out-ofschool Adults (BP-OSA)

secondary schools spread
out nationwide with the
school principals as program
coordinators and their own
teachers as Instructional
Managers.

This program caters to outof-school youth and adults

Radio-based Instruction (RBI)

- It is an alternative
delivery mode utilizing
the Accreditation and
Equivalency (A&E)
Program of the
Department of Education.
- The use of radio
broadcast signals the use
of distance learning in
the Alternative Learning
System.

Computer-based Instruction
- It takes advantage of
the promise of
providing learning
opportunities through
ALS that is
characterized by
separation of the
learning facilitator
from the learner, use
of mixed media
software.

IMPLEMENTATION
SCHEME and
GUIDELINES

Grouping

Mobile teachers will be grouped or

clustered. The term CLUSTER will
be adapted in the implementation
and may refer to any of the following

all mobile teachers in one division

all mobile teachers in 2 regions

all mobile teachers in one region

all mobile teachers in 2 or 3 neighboring
division

ALS District and School Coordinators

will be included as cluster members.

Meeting Time and Place

A meeting or gathering of the

mobile teachers will be referred
to as ASSEMBLY.

Assemblies will take place at

least once a month per cluster.

Programming
Members of a cluster will take turn to serve as

CLUSTER FACILITATOR who will be responsible in

planning and running the activities for a
session/an assembly.

Cluster facilitator may consult the SDS, District

Supervisor or any other DepEd officials within the

division, and the cluster members themselves.
