THE PROPHET TAUGHT US THE QURAN.

HE SHOWED US THE QUR'AN IN ACTION
For Muslims, the Quran is Gods written word.
The Quran instructs Muslims about how they
should live.

 Prophet Mohamed taught us to be honest, treat

others fairly, honor their parents, show kindness
to neighbors and give generously to the poor.
Murder, Lying and stealing are completely forbidden.

Allah and the Prophet forbade us from eating

pork,
drinking liquor or gambling

Muslims are expected to fulfill The Five Pillars of Islam or five

different acts of worship.

1) Belief (Shahadah) Muslims must declare that there is no god but Allah and that Mohammad is
his prophet.

2) Prayer (Salat) Muslims must pray five times a day facing

towards Mecca.

3) Charity (Zakat) Muslims must give to the poor.

4) Fasting (Swam) Muslims do not eat from dawn to dusk during

the sacred month of Ramadan.

5) Pilgrimage (Hajj) - Muslims must visit Mecca once in their life.

Prophet Mohamed taught us the ways to

perform the five pillars of Islam.
He taught us how to pray five times a day
He taught us what to give as Zakat
He taught us the rules of Fasting
He taught us the ways of performing Hajj

 The Sunnah is the Prophet Muhammad's teaching,

words and deeds.
It is the best way of life according to Islamic teachings.
Everyone should follow the Sunnah.
