Audience plays a larger role than other component in the

design and development of an online course.
The audience has to be in mind from the concept stage to
implementation.
In the ADDIE process, the first step is to conduct audience
analysis.
The ADDIE model is the generic process traditionally used
by instructional designers and training developers

environment( Knowing there type of work helps because some might
be busy all day and free in the evening, restricted time to access the
internet, noise environment).

To be effective, understanding the learners in a

targeted audience is necessary.
In an online environment, it is often difficult for
instructor to get information about students.
but it is essential that the instructor to plan a
way of inviting them to share information
about themselves while maintaining their right
to privacy.
