NOUN
Basic Part of Speech

A word that is the name of a person,


place,
thing,
quality,
state,
action, and idea.
The things that we talk about can be
the subject or object.
Example : book, Susi, the building

I recommend this book.

important.
When we have things we

A word that describes or adds to the meaning


of verb, adjective, another adverb or a whole
sentence.
Example : carefully, quietly, fast

PREPOSITION

A word which is used to show the way in


which other words are connected.

specific.
Example : the, some
