UP DUCATI

The UP Ducati, to implement the new 104 parameters needs a firmware

update.
The operation can be performed remotely, using the software
ConfiguratoreUP Ducati V2.850 or future releases.
The firmware with new 104 parameters is named
UP_Ups_Eth_v4.15f_NEW_PARAMETERS.elf.S19
THE REMOTE UPDATE:
IS AVAILABLE ONLY IF THE UP HAS BOOTLOADER v.2.004 onboard.
IS AVAILABLE IF THE UP IS SETTED AS RTU fuera de operacao

UP SELTA

The UP SELTA, to implement the new 104 parameters DO NOT NEED a

firmware update, because it already manage it.
A tool will connect to a list of UP, identified by their IP address, and will
1. load the configuration from the UP
2. Modify the IEC 104 parameters to the NEW standard
3. Send back the configuration to the UP
4. Save on the PC the new configuration file.
5. Generate a report automatically.

UP SELTA
The tool comes together with the installation of the new configurator, version .02.01, as a
separate program, named:
UpBatchUpdate.exe
Before launching it, search for the template EXCEL FILE, named
up_patch_example.xls
That is under a folder named DbDef
And compile with the list of IP Addresses of the UP to be updated.
Compile NOME UP and INDIRIZZO IP fields.

Configuration and Update
via IP NETWORK

COL GIOVANNI Gestione UP Software

This guide is intended for GestioneUP COL GIOVANNI software, from

version 2.1.0.0 or above.
Usually the configuration of a UP2008 ETHERNET - COL GIOVANNI is
performed locally in field, using an USB cable between the PC running
GestioneUP and the UE module of the UP.
With this guide it will be shown that also a remote management of the UPs by
remote over the IP network is possible.

The 100% of the functionalities of the software can be accessed from remote,
such as:
read / write a configuration of the UP
use the Visualizzatore module, to monitor:
Digital statuses
Analog measurements
Automation statuses
Read the firmware version loaded inside an UP
Upgrade the firmware version of a UP
Force a firmware version in the UP
Proceed with a massive firmware upgrade of a list of UPs, with a tool to
monitor the success/insuccess for each UP.

The communication between the PC Running Gestione UP 2.1.0.0 or above
and the UE can be managed in 3 different ways:
1. Locally, using an USB cable between the PC and the UE
2. Remotely, establishing a connection via TCP/IP to one specific UE
3. Remotely for massive operations. The software will sequentially
establish a connection and perform the requested operation (for example
a firmware READ or a firmware UPGRADE) on a LIST of UPs
The remote connection (cases 2 and 3 above) can be performed if:
. The UE IP address (or of the router if the NAT function is ebabled) is
reachable from the PC running GestioneUP
. The Connection uses TCP port 10001.
