SELF COMPACTING
CONCRETE
"A highly flowable, yet stable concrete that can
spread readily into place and fill the formwork
without any consolidation and without undergoing
significant separation.
(SCC) is concrete that flows into place under its
own weight, without segregation and flow blockage.

Conclusion
SCC is considered as the most revolutionary
development in concrete construction for several
decades.
SCC appears to have significant potential for its use
in the concrete industry.
As compared with conventional concrete the self
compacting concrete gives higher strengths on long
duration.
