INTRODUCTION
An ingenious system controlled by a microcontroller by a micro controller
or a PLC for sorting different objects.
Object sorting can be sorted in various ways such as
Color
Shape
Size
Weight
Height
Use

Color Based Object Sorting

System
The proposed project is a color based object sorting sysytem capable of
sorting onject based on their colors.
The objects will be placed on funnel , which would be flushed downside, one
at a time, & will be color sensored as per their specific color and then will be
feeded at their particularly specified color bins.
Sensor will be installed at the bottom of the funnel.
After a suitable processing the object will be dropped into its respective
bins.

Review
An embedded system should have qualities like efficiency, low power
consumption, high durability, high accuracy, etc. The wireless camera
surveillance system using PIR offers all such merits.
PIR Sensor or Passive Infrared Sensor or Pyroelectric Infrared Sensor detects
the radiations emitted by the human body and thereby use it to track the
humans.
The basic advantage this system offers is that it saves power by only
switching on when the target is located.
Also, the sensor completely tracks the human being and the input from it is
used to drive the motor in order to pan the camera and track the target.

Progress
The basic idea of the project came from the need of an colour sorting
So far, the system has been designed on a PCB and etched. The components
have all been gathered and are ready to be assembled.
The work that remains is to assemble the equipment and program the
microcontroller to do the specified task.

Applications
Object sorting is a useful mechanism in many industries
After fabrication and testing and further improvements this project can be produced on
mass scale to be implemented on various industries like
Color Detection & Sorting operations like brick sorting,
tablets separation, etc.
Process control to printed materials.
Ambience light detection.
Robotics color detection
food and beverage
packaging
Machinery parts
Vehicle and engine part
