RUDRADVIPA
Rudradvipa is the island of Lord Siva for it is replete with his
pastimes. This island represents the devotional process of
sakhyam, serving the Lord in the mood of friendship.
Three Acharyas of the four Vaishnava sampradaya received
instructions from
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu for their
preaching mission. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu left Mayapur
from this island to take sannyasa and to spread His
Sankirtana mission all over India. ISKCON, which is spreading
Mahaprabhus sankirtana mission ,has its headquarters in
Rudradvipa.
8.MODADRUMADVIPA
Here one can feel the sweet
and innocent playful mood of
Krishna, for Modadrumadvipa
is
non-different
from
Bhandiravana
forest
in
Vrindavana.
This
island
represents the process of
sevanam,rendering service to
the Lord. Modadrumadvipa is
also Ayodhya. Lord Rama,
Lakshmana and Sita devi
came here in Treta yuga while
they were travelling in exile.

7.JAHNUDVIPA
This Seventh island is nondifferent from Bhadravana,
one of the twelve forests of
Vrindavana where Krishna
and Balarama played games
with Their friends .Jahnudvipa
is known locally as Jannagara.
This island represents the
devotional
mellow
of
Vandanam, offering prayers
to the Lord.
The hermitage of the great
sage Jahnu Muni is located
here.

6.RTUDVIPA
This
Rtudvipa
is
the
abode
of
transcendental bliss ,for it is part of the
area of Radha- Kunda in Vraja.
The word Ritu means spring and here it is
constantly spring time, eventhough all
the six seasons are manifested in the
dhama.
This island represents the devotional
mellow of archanam, offering worship to
the Supreme Lord.

1. ANTARDVIPA

Antar means secret and dvipa means island" and this


island is where Krishna revealed His internal secret feelings
about his future appearance as Lord Chaitanya. This island
represents the devotional process of Atma Nivedana-full
surrender to the Supreme Lord. Antardvipa is considered as
the Transcendental Meeting Place where all Lords
associates met with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to take part in
His Navadvipa lila

2. SIMANTADVIPA
This island represents the
devotional
process
of
sravanam, hearing the
Lords
pastimes.
The
pastime of Parvati Devi
and
Chaitanya
Mahaprabhu took place
here at the Simanti Devi
Temple located on this
island. Parvati Devi stays
here
as
goddess
of
Simantadvipa..

3.GODRUMADVIPA
This island represents the
devotional
process
of
Kirtanam, chanting the
holy name of the Lord.
Srila
Bhaktivinoda
Thakura
writes,
Godruma is non-different
from
Nandisvara,
the
home of Nanda Maharaja,
and the cowherd men.

4.MADHYADVIPA
The name madhyam means middle and this
name was given to this island because the
Supreme Personality of Godhead appeared
here at the noon time.
This island represents the devotional
process of Smaranam ,remembering the
pastimes of the Lord.
The famous Hamsa Vahana Siva temple is
located at Madhyadvipa.

5.KOLADVIPA
This area is known as Varaha kshetra and Kuliyapahada and is non- different from Govardhana Hill in Vrindavana. This
Island is called Koladvipa parvata because it is from where Krishna appeared in the form of Lord Varahadev and revealed
the glories of Gauranga Mahaprabhu to his devotee Vasudeva. This island represents the devotional process of pada
sevanam,rendering service to the lotus feet of the Lord.
