developed by Robert J. Waterman & Tom Peters

Limitations of 7S framework
Only deals with internal environment of
an organization exclusively while totally
neglecting the external environment
like competitors, substitutes etc.
It defines the organization AS-IS and
not how it ought to be.
The strong strategic fit makes the
organization very predictable in a
hyper-competitive market.
