The purpose of this project is

to demonstrate the
classification and recognition
of handwritten decimal digits
from images.

What we had?

Matlab(R2015b) to do all of the coding.

Windows operating system.

Intel quad-core processor.

A dataset of 5000 images of handwritten digits

processed into a 20x20 pixels images.

Inference
Neural network is a better alternative when large
no. Of data and classes of data are involved.
BUT:
Neural network is slower in training dataset and
computationally costlier.
