Soldier. The interpretation of readings gives technician
Clues to trouble-shooting.

Zero ohms adjustments:


Use to set the pointer exactly
On zero position at the right
side of meter panel

Zero corrector:
Use to set the meter pointer to
Zero position at the left side of

Range selector:
It is used to adjust the proper
Function range for specific
measurement

1. Before taking a measurement,


the pointer position should be
confirmed to zero on the top
ohm scale.
2. With the + and COM terminals
shorted together, the meter is
adjusted by turning the zero
ohm adj. to the right or left in
order to place on zero at right.
3. Always set the meter pointer on
the highest range of there
function, if measuring an unknown
voltage or current.

Voltmeter:
Is used when it is
necessary to
determine the
presence or absence
of an electrical
pressure or voltage on
a unit under test.
Tester has two voltmeter
functions:
1. AC or alternating
current
2. DC or Direct current

DC VOLTMETER:
1. When operating on .1 volt range, we utilize the 10 volts scale and
Shift the decimal two places to the left. (.01 as multiplier )
