Overhaul Procedure for Coal Mill:

1.

On-Site Preparation

a) Block out the repair site with fencing and hang the warning sign.
b) Pave rubber on the repair site and prepare crossties and other items.
c) Cranes and chain hoists shall be tested qualified. Crane pilots shall work with a license.
d) Qualified leakage protectors must be set when the power for lighting under use and electrical tools
are inspected. Prepare a line lamp transformer lower than 24V when entering the room of Coal Mill.
e) Put tools and instruments, spare parts, and materials for service in categories in order. Use qualified
measuring tools.
f) Before service, service and operation staff shall confirm the implementation of secure quarantine
measures of all service facilities simultaneously. Install security and prevention fencing for service
facilities. Remove accumulated dust and debris in the facility. Pave rubber board on the service site.
g) The mating surface of every component shall be wiped clean and applied to with specified oil slick.

a)

Unscrew the thorough oil outlet plug and let the oil inside the vessel. Remove the filter
components and the gland nuts on the filter. Get off the roof cover.

b) Check the filter disc and sealing washer. Place the removed components in clean vessels for
washing. They shall not be broken, or it shall be replaced by filter of the same model.
c)

Reinstall in sequence opposite to that of disassembly according to the original location. The
filter discs shall be compressed without gap and shall not be interchangeable.

d) Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut. Remove the reversing spanner. Remove the gland
nuts and check the 0-shape sealing ring. Take out the valve element for inspection and cleaning.
The oil immersed packing shall not be aged or worn. The 0 ring is not damaged.
e)

Reinstallation of reversing value shall be performed opposite to the disassembly. The sealing
shall be tight upon reinstallation to prevent leakage.

f)

Upon installation, the reversing valve element shall be intact and positioned. Various
components shall be clean inside without foreign matter. Valve element shall be smooth and flat
without spots, wounds or valve element aging. It shall be flexible upon reversing without
