Summary
The annexation of Korea
happened in August 22nd
1910 when Japan officially
signing the Japan-Korea
Treaty. It is signed by the
Prime Minister of the
Korean Empire Lee Wanyong and Japanese
Resident General of Korea
Count Terauchi Masatake.
This completed the
process of diminishing the
Korean autonomy and has
been furthered by other
treaties since 1876.
