 Feasibility Study is a process to make changes


in the current system in order to achieve new
effective system.

A feasibility study is performed by a company


when they want to know whether a project is
possible given certain circumstances.

Does the company have the relevant technological resources
which are required to undertake the project?
And are the processes and procedures conducive to project
success?

 Schedule Feasibility:-
The study is undertaken to know
Does the company have currently the enough time resources to
undertake the project?
And Is the project completable in the available time?
 Economic Feasibility –
The study is undertaken to know::
Whether given financial resources of the company, is
enough for the project completion?
This study is more commonly called
the cost/benefit analysis.

 Cultural Feasibility –
The study defines::
What will the impact on both local and general cultures
be?
What sort of environmental implications does the
feasibility study have?
o Legal Feasibility:
The study is undertaken to know::
What are the legal implications of the project?
It is important to make sure that the project which is
undertaken will meet all legal and ethical requirements before
it is on the table.

Resource Feasibility:
The study is undertaken to know::
Whether the company have enough resources?
What resources will be required, what facilities will be required
for the project.
 Operational Feasibility –
This study measures::
How well the company is able to solve problems and
take advantage of opportunities that are presented
during the course of the project

 Marketing Feasibility –
This study defines::
Will anyone want the product once its done? What is the
target demographic?
Should there be a test run?
 Real Estate Feasibility –
This study is undertaken to know:::
What kind of land or property will be required to
undertake the project?
How will the business impact the area?

 Comprehensive Feasibility
This study takes a look at the various aspects involved in
the project such as- marketing, real estate, cultural,
economic, etc. When undertaking a new business
venture, this is the most common type of feasibility study
performed.
