Houston Elite Dance Company are the most

entertaining elite dancers in the Houston Area. HEDC
dedicates their time to uplifting, persistence, selflove, community service, and teaching young dancers
to pursue a dance career and showcasing art.
Houston Elite Dance Company was formed in 2015 by
Director Shareece Williams to continue dance career
and start choreography career.

showcase their art.

 The Dance Company performs at shows, athletic

events, alumni, media and community service events
throughout the year:
All Shows: Broadway Tour, Recitals

grand openings, recognition ceremonies, etc.
Various alumni/rookie events including: meet the
team, rookie night and banquet.
Media Events Including: TV Promotions, sponsorship
promotions, commercials, photo shoots, etc

local middle/highschool/college events, birthday
parties, weddings, etc.

What to Expect in
Clinic:
Before auditions, HEDC
will host a dance clinic
to train and prepare
dancers for auditions:

Auditions

Dancers are taught the

Fight Song, Kick
Routine, and
Performance Routine.
Fight Song involves
stand moves.
Performance Routines
incorporates lyrical,
jazz, majorette and/or
hip hop.

What to Expect for

Auditions
Dancers will arrived
stretched and ready
to perform Fight
song, Kick Routine,
Solo and
Performance Routine
and are not
evaluated.
This is an
opportunity for the
dancers to warm up
and hear the music.

Preliminary Round

Rounds

Dancers enter in groups

of 2 or 3 and are
introduced to the
Judging Panel.
Each group perform

Final Round
Dancers will be
interviewed and
perform their solos
in a group setting.
Afterwards, dancers
may be asked to
perform the fight
song and/or
Performance Routine
as a group.

Making The
Team

By the end of day, each team member will be

announced.
Within a week, HEDC will have a meeting to talk
about uniforms, season, code of conducts, officer
tryouts, training camp, practices, fees, Meet The
Team, Rookie Night, Banquet, performances, HEDC
Parents/Booster Club, ETC
