SUBJECT AND PREDICATE

A sentence consists of two

partsi.e. subject and predicate.
Sentence = Subject + Predicate

SUBJECT
The part of sentence which performs some
action in a sentence is called Subject.
A subject can be anoun,
pronoun,nounclause or nounphrase.
EXAMPLE
Heis flying a kite.
Johnis driving a car.
Sheate an apple
Iwrote him a letter.

PREDICATE
The part of sentence which tells
about the subject is called
predicate.

Heis flying a kite.
