Is it easy to follow Jesus? Why?

For us Christians,
we find it hard to follow Jesus. Why? First, Jesus
requires us to surrender ourselves to Him, to
relinquish our aspirations for our lives and submit
our wills to God. We dont know many things
about God and his ways. Even if we know we dont
know how to apply these in our daily lives. We
have many enemies within ourselves and outside
us. We dont know how to overcome them.
GROWING CLOSER
TO GOD

But we have answers to

these problems
GRACE and WISDOM.
Grace is always freely given
by God to all those who seek
Him. We need to ask it from
God through prayers. That is
why we need to pray daily.

THE HEART OF TEACHING - - - - - - IS A TEACHER WITH A

HEART!
Life is about what we
become, not trophies,
grades, medals , wealth,
power etc.

How to become
teachers who effect
change:

O Character

We teach who we are.

Your
consistencies, your credibility is twofaced.
Behaving when no one is
around needs to be taken into
consideration.
Our personality will
show who we are and what we do
when no one is around. Consistency,
integrity, choices,
credit
are
words to be pondered upon.

O Commitment.

Teaching beyond techniques;

great teachers are great learners
as well; when the going gets
tough, the tough gets going.
Failure is a part of success. Life
= risk. What is important in
teaching is not knowledge but
perspective (pananaw). How you
see the problem. If you are not
great today, where did you fail?

O Competence.

The right person with right

motives and right purpose. They
know their priorities, their goals,
their commitments.

or bitter, can lead us to heaven

and our choice. Definition of
success----your priorities in life
count. Dont focus on the
externals. Life is the coffee not
the cup.

changes in your life or work, do
you need to do to become a
successful and fulfilled teacher?

Courage.
When a teacher loose heart, this
is the realization of something
greater than fear.

Contemplation is listening to
the TEACHER within; is
taking care of our inner life.

Compassion
Teacher with extraordinary
kindness in the heart.

Connection.
Teaching to change lives. Life is
not about what you do. Life is
about what you become.

SUMMARY:
The heart of a teacher has
character,
commitment,
competence,
courage,
contemplation, compassion and
connection.

IN A WORLD OF CHAOS, 4
things will happen to a
teacher:
O 1. Lose his/her mind
O 2. Becomes suicidal (end his/her)
O 3. Destroy his/her life (Live an

immoral life)
O 4. Find God.

In a therapeutic coffee: Dont do

it alone. Have support groups.
Live one day at a time.
