In 1990 Beyonc started a girl band called
Destinys Child at just the age of eight.
In 1997 they signed on with Columbia Records,
where they debuted their first song in the Men In
Black movie.
In 1998 Destinys Childs first album Destinys
Child was released and went platinum, selling
three million copies all over the world.

Career: Solo
In 2003 Beyonc broke off from Destinys Child to start
her career as a solo artist.
She released her first album Dangerously In Love and
it sold over six million units across the nation
She has released four very successful albums since,
BDay, I Am Sasha Fierce, 4, Beyonc.
She has performed in many famous venues such as
Saturday Night Live, The Grammys, MTV Music Awards,
and the Super Bowl.

Beyonc supports over 32 charities
Some of these causes includes, Abuse, Addiction,
AIDS&HIV, Bullying, Cancer, Poverty, Rape/Sexual
Abuse, Water, Women.
Beyonc gave $7 million to the Knowles-Temenos
Place Apartments in Houston, Texas. The
apartment complex was launched in 2007 for
people who lost their homes due to Hurricane
Katrina.

Feminist
Beyonc has always been a very outspoken and well
known feminist.
Honestly, it's very simple. It's just a person that
believes in equality for men and women. Men and
women balance each other out, and we have to get to a
point where we are comfortable with appreciating each
