This may be influenced as much by


how the supply chain is planned, how
and where components are sourced and
products made, as it is about how they
are delivered.
Some supply chains require the
planning of return processes in addition
to outbound delivery e.g. return of
packing materials, damaged goods,
product recalls, etc.
