Introduction
Over the past twenty five years, the number of
manufacturing units has grown from 180 to over 4000.
The RMG sector has also played a significant role in the
socio-economic development of the country.
Nearly four million workers are directly and more than
twelve million inhabitants are indirectly associated with
the industry and one and half are women workers.
Export in forging countries various garments product :
USA, UK and others country
The mission and vision profit maximization

Current Situation of RMG Sector


in Bangladesh
According to private statistics there are 5000 garments
factory .
According to BGMEA there are 4000 garments factory.
More than 12 lakh labors employing on this industry.
85% of the labor is women.
76% of total export earnings come from RMG sector.

Lack of education of workers

Conclusion
Finally we can say that if the government modify
their law regarding RMG sector and if anyone
failed to follow or fulfilled the requirements of the
law they will get punished.
On the same side factory owners of RMG industry
need to follow the Bangladesh Labor Law 2015 so
that they can do business in a proper guidelines.
Try to consider the workers condition and provide
them proper compensation and benefits.
Government must aware about the Bangladeshi
labor law to those workers so that they are able to
understand their basic rights.
