ITC was established in 1910 on 24 August.
It was named as IMPERIAL TOBACCO
COMPANY of India.
Its headquater is in Kolkata, West Bengal
Chairman- Y.C.Deveshwar
Revenue earned recorded- 51,942 cores.
No. of employees-25959 in 2014.
In 1970 it was renamed as INDIAN
TOBACCO COMPANY.

FINDINGS
An ITC Ltd. Provide many facilities for the employees.
They are using simple methods for recruiting employees.
Recruitment in ITC Ltd. is a continual process.
ITC Ltd. Company depends on outsourcing recruiting candidates.
Technical knowledge is must without it candidate is rejected .

CONCLUSION
The existing recruitment policy is adequate to recruit various
types of personnel but modern methods of recruitment and
selection should be adopted to be more effective.
The present recruitment policy is flexible enough as it has
undergone several changes from time to time to suit the
recruitments of the management.
In the companies, both internal & external sources of
recruitment are used.
As far my project is concerned I would happily convey that the
recruitment and selection process of the company is a
transparent and effective process. New employees are recruited
taking in concern the need of the company & full concern is kept
in mind to select a qualified, intelligent, hardworking and active
employees who can work with full dedication and sincerity.

Limitations of Study
These were certain limitations of my project if these limitations
would have been taken care of project would have been catered to
its need in a better way
Survey was conducted in short time due to which Employees did
not get enough time to complete the survey properly.
Incidents happening at the time of the survey have affected it.
Employees thought that the questionnaire was too big and too
specific.
Some of the respondents could not spare much time to answer the
questionnaire because of lack of their valuable time.
Due to the following limitations the desired objective for conducting
employees satisfaction survey was not achieved.
