It is a multi-layer concept and has been defined in many ways.

rentas sempadan dan pelbagai struktur dalam negeri yang membolehkan
ekonomi, politik, budaya dan ideologi sesebuah negara menembusi

(global power) untuk mewujudkan centralization iaitu memaksa agenda
ekonomi, politik dan sosial mereka kepada pihak yang lemah. Superpower

yang telah disediakan dengan meletakkan mereka sebagai pusat dan

Sumber utama ajaran Islam adalah Al-Quuran
dan sunnah. Pembaharuan Islam di masa klasik
maupun modern tak lepas dari kedua hal
tersebut.karena Al-Quran dirancang bukan untuk
suatu kaum tertentu atau kurun waktu yang
terbatas, tidak sebagaimana kitab-kitab suci lain
Allah, seperti : Taurat, Injil dan Zabur. Namun
kehadiranya dimaksudkan untuk petunjuk dan
pedoman hidup seluruh ummat manusia
disepanjang zaman, maka ajaran-ajaranya yang
dikandunya bersifat global dan universal.
