Stress management
It helps to improve everyday functioning

It can teach us healthier ways to cope with stress and to reduce its harmful effects

It also evaluates the reason behind stress and by the help of various techniques and method we
can effectively overcome from stress.

WHAT IS STRESS

Stress is a simply a reaction to stimulus that disturbs our physical or mental condition

It produces numerous physical and mental symptoms which vary according to each individual's
situational factors

The stress can be thought of as resulting from an imbalance between demands and resources

What are the sources of stress in your life?

Lack of job security ,Company policies ,Coworkers who don't do their fair share, Unclear
expectations.

Poor communication ,Not enough control over assignments ,Inadequate pay or benefits .
Urgent deadlines ,Too much work ,Long hours ,Uncomfortable physical conditions
Relationship conflicts ,Coworkers making careless mistakes ,Dealing with rude customers,
Lack of cooperation.

Negative Effects of Stress


1. Physical
Weight gain/loss ,Heart palpitations and High blood pressure and becoming Insomniac , fast heartbeat
,headache, tiredness, stomach, diabetes etc.
2. Emotional

Mood swings ,Anxiety ,Can lead to depression ,Can also lead to unhealthy coping strategies (i.e.
alcohol, drugs, Bad Addictions etc.)
Positive effects:- A quick burst of energy, Increse in immunity, Heightened memory

How to Manage Stress


Social activity ,Conflict resolution ,Getting a hobby ,Meditation , Yoga, Music
Deep breathing ,Yoga Nidra ,Reading novels ,Prayer ,Humor ,Physical exercise ,Spending
time in nature
Natural medicine, Go for a walk ,Spend time in nature ,Call a good friend
Express your feelings instead of bottling them up, be willing to compromise, managing your
time
