Types of Innovation
Invention- create new product/service/process
Extension- Expansion to existing product
lines/services/processes. E.g. Samsung is extending
its business to automobiles.
Duplication- process of adding new function/features.
E.g. MMS & WAP were added to handset.
Synthesis- process of combining several ideas & items
to create new product.
