Scope Of Research
To study the strength of concrete, two experiments will be carried out on the
concrete, which was coupled with concrete roof tiles in the laboratory of Civil
Engineering Department (JKA) PTSB a compression test and drop test.

Methodology
The
Cement taken in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the calculation of the mixture and add
cement to the metal tray for brewing.
2.
3.
The sand must be screened first for separating foreign objects before putting into the mix.
4.
5.
Then the tiles will be 5%, 10% and 20% into the concrete to replace the sand.
6.
Water is added to the mix in the measure set. The water depends on each mix.
7.
After that, mix cement, sand, aggregates, tiles and water until well blended into the concrete mix.
8.
After that, enter the concrete mixture into the mold, measuring 150mm x 150mm x 150mm.
9.
Compact the concrete in the mold of stamping by using stuffing. Stamping is done by 35 times.
Repeat this method 3 times.
10.
Upon completion of the compaction process, the concrete is in the mold just flattened at the top.
Then the concrete was placed into the mold just saved into the workshop.
Slump Test
Slump test is to ensure the consistency of the concrete
and also control the power. This is a rough test
conducted on concrete samples at Mix at different
times to ensure that the mixture contains an amount of
water roughly the same, not too thin or too dry. This
test is done in a concrete mix is made. samples must be
taken from newly made smoothies. tools used to
perform this test is a circular iron mold and a diameter
of 16mm.
